This six bedroom, five and a half bath property includes three vast bedrooms on each floor, each with its own King-sized bed, and 11 foot ceilings throughout.

The primary suite features a king-sized bed with a plush dramatic headboard, a decorative fireplace and a 50” Intelligent TV, in addition to an attached full bathroom. The bedroom at the front of the property facing Cannon Street includes a king-sized bed, a pullout couch and a desk that can do double duty for work or getting ready for the day. A third bedroom also offers a king size bed as well as a gorgeous decorative fireplace.

Unit B : Up the stairs sits the living, dining, and outdoor space, all of which is exclusive to your event during your stay. The second floor space features a hallway that runs parallel to the staircase with a banister that overlooks the entryway below. The master bedroom, living room and one bathroom are accessible from here. Located a few feet past the stairs is a transitional space that includes access to the laundry room on the right and the kitchen ahead. The kitchen is both classy and cavernous, boasting an impressive (although decorative) fireplace, a mix of unique framed prints and artwork, and a round table with chairs ideal for dining or sipping morning coffee.

Strategies to get the perfect vacation property experience:

Find your perfect vacation home:

  • Book your rental as early as possible. Rental schedules generally become available 12 months in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many families book their Summer rental homes during Thanksgiving and Christmas gatherings. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • Reserve your rental home in Fall or Spring to get the benefit of gorgeous weather while saving money and avoiding crowded roads, restaurants, and activities. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Charleston area vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation on the coast? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with family and friends at the beach.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property management company or host whether your group qualifies for a special promotion or discount.
  • Booking websites often offer renters an option to buy trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed days as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a bank account-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your host for details.
  • Find a copy of your local Charleston area area magazine upon checking in. If your rental property doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local shops and fuel stations. In addition to great articles, travel guides have money saving offers on nearby shops and restaurants.

How to choose the perfect rental home:

  • Select a group lead, select your vacation week, and select a maximum budget.
  • Only 3 Blocks to King Street has 6 bedrooms and 7 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our search.
  • Precise descriptions of bedrooms and bed counts is often available on booking websites. If they are not listed, reach out to the property owner before booking your rental. Note that most properties list the maximum guest capacity, which typically includes pull-out couches.
  • If your group is bringing pets, you'll need to search for a pet-friendly vacation rental. Request specifics on breed, size, and type requirements. Usually, property owners charge additional pet fees.
  • Are you visiting for a single attraction or event? If so, use a map search to locate nearby rentals.
  • Proper accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for guests that require the use of a wheelchair. Confirm all required amenities are included before booking.

Know before you go:

  • Get the property manager's phone number and entry/exit procedures for your rental property.
  • Property managers are there to help! Feel free to ask any questions during your stay.
  • Ensure you protect the rental owner (and your stuff!) by keeping the rental locked up when you are out, just like you would back home.
  • Note any issues with the rental during check in, and immediately e-mail them to the property manager. We especially recommend e-mails and text messages, as they usually contain time stamps that can be helpful if a dispute is filed.
  • Respect your neighbors. Often, surrounding homes are filled by permanent residents. Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking rules reduces conflict and allows everyone to enjoy their day.
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local! Locals can frequently help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to take kids for a treat, have a great night out, or the best spots for shopping?
  • Don't leave anything behind! Before departing, walk through the property to confirm you've collected everything. Check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden treasure. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Inspect the property one final time and scan for any damage. We advise inspecting the property with the host whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the manager is not available, remember to take video and pictures of the rental to record its condition.
  • Did you have a excellent vacation? Most rental managers make it easy for guests to provide comments. If your property and/or property management company was terrific, they would love to hear about it. If anything was defective and they failed to fix it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make it a point as part of your review.
