Tips for getting the perfect Charleston area vacation rental experience:

Get the most from your spending budget:

  • The earlier you can book a rental home, the easier your search will be. The best rental homes are reserved very early. Reserving your rental up to 12 months before your travel dates is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to plan and book your rental property.
  • Property managers sometimes offer rate reductions for veterans. Remember to ask your host or property manager if special offers are available for your group before you book.
  • Booking websites often offer customers an option to purchase vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which will generally cost between 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed trip time as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather, as well as hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance might be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your host for additional information.
