The Sea Cabin Condominiums really have it all, as you'll also appreciate use of the resort-style pool and fishing pier—what more could you want for a ideal isle vacation?

Things to know prior to booking your stay:
• The Sea Cabin buildings do not have an elevator. Stairs are used to access all units, including some stairs to the 1st floor.
• All units are 490 sq. ft. – they most comfortably accommodate 2 adult guests with smaller kids. But while they are smaller, they are still 2x the size of most hotel rooms and include a entirely functional kitchen!
• Please carefully review all photos including the aerial photo that shows the layout of the condo complex to get an idea of where you'll be staying.
• Washers and Dryers are located next to the pool on the oceanfront; they are coin operated or download an app to pay!
• Parking notes: Each unit is given 1 parking pass during peak season (June 1 – August 1). One additional pass may be requested during the off season.
• The community pool is not heated and is usually open year round.
• No smoking. A $500 dollar fine will be issued in order to professionally get rid of the odor.
• No family pets on site per condo regime and condo owner. No exception unless ADA documentation is supplied prior to your arrival. A $500 dollar fine will be issued if pet(s) are found on site without proper documentation.
• This property is managed by Carroll Realty, located on the island just 1.5 miles from the condo should you need anything during your stay!

The Sea Cabin Condominiums share a Community Pool, Laundry Facility, and also have access to a Private Fishing Pier! Come try your luck at fishing from the 1000-foot fishing pier that is only accessible by condominium owners and guests, or savor a calming walk on the pier over the breaking waves.

Tricks and tips to get the perfect vacation property experience:

How to get the best value:

  • In the Charleston area area, The earlier you can book a rental home, the better your selection will be. The best vacation rentals are reserved early. Reserving your rental home six to twelve months before your vacation is recommended. Holiday gatherings are excellent times to search for and reserve your rental property.
  • Summertime is the most expensive season in the Charleston area area. Reserve your rental home in Fall or Spring months to enjoy gorgeous weather while saving money and avoiding crowds. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to reserve an oceanfront vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the Summer months. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Charleston area vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation near the ocean? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with friends and family at your favorite beach.
  • Some property managers offer discounts for active duty military and veterans. It's always a good idea to check with your property manager to see if special offers are available for your group.
  • Booking websites typically offer guests an option to add trip insurance. Trip insurance, which normally costs between 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed vacation time as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel or extra gasoline expenses. Trip insurance can be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask your host for specifics.
  • Look for your local Charleston area visitors guide magazine upon arrival. If your rental doesn't have one, you can find them at local shops and visitor centers. In addition to great local stories, visitors guide magazines contain coupons for local tours, shops, and attractions.

Choosing the best rental in the Charleston area area:

  • Start by selecting potential vacation weeks and a spending budget.
  • Note the number beds and the configuration you need. Amazing Remodel! Oceanfront 2nd Floor Condo!! Community Pool & Fishing Pier! has 1 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our vacation rental search.
  • Precise descriptions of bedrooms and bed counts is often available online. Otherwise, reach out to the property management company before you book the vacation property. Note that most listings specify the max. guest capacity, which often includes sofa beds and bunks. You'll need to establish what bed configuration is right for your vacation.
  • If your group is vacationing with pets, you'll need to book a pet-friendly property. Get specifics on breed, weight, and type restrictions. Usually, property owners charge additional pet fees.
  • Is your group looking for specific amenities? Most rental websites include search filters for amenities. Filtering by amenity will allow you to quickly find the best rental.
  • Appropriate accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for guests with disabilities. Make certain to inquire about specialized equipment and wheel chair accessibility.

More considerations:

  • We recommend storing the owner's contact information in your smartphone and wallet.
  • Ask questions. You may need instructions for a garage door opener, stereo or thermostat. Contact your property manager. They are there to help! A brief phone call prevents quite a few issues.
  • Protect the rental owner (and your things!) by keeping the rental locked up when you are away, just like you would at home.
  • Upon arrival, record any damages to the rental property and immediately contact the host. Record all correspondence just in case a dispute arises.
  • Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking policies can make a stay more pleasurable. Be a good neighbor. You'll magnify your chance to make some new local friends, and resident neighbors are a fantastic resource to find the best local attractions.
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Locals can often help. Who better to ask where to order delicious takeout, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for BBQ?
  • Don't leave anything behind! Just before departing, walk through the rental to reconfirm you've collected everything. Make sure to check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden treasure. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
  • Did your group have a fantastic stay? Many rental websites make it easy for vacationers to provide reviews. If your rental property and/or property manager was fantastic, they would love to hear about it. If anything was wrong and they failed to address it within reason, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make it a point as part of your review.
