Historic Battery Getaway - Vacation rental home in Charleston, SC

This unique place features a style all to its own. Cone be a quest at the Historic Mevers Mansion, where we've been welcoming quest since 1896. The mansion originally served as the Battery House Inn until 1900. The beautiful two-bedroom, two-and-a-half bathroom unit retains all the original appeal while incorporating modern touched and updates throughout. During your stay, you’ll find a cavernous apartment in the heart of Charleston, offering striking vistas of the harbor. The two-story apartment features high-end furnishings in the family room, a 6-person table in the dining room, and a newly refreshed kitchen with a washer and dryer. Upon ascending the stairs, you’ll discover two full suites. Each suite features a queen bed and dresser for storage, and the master bathroom includes a walk-in shower and a hottub tub. Bath linens and bed sheets are supplied. You’ll have shared access to the main floor veranda, just steps away, where you can savor the sweeping vistas of the harbor. If you prefer to dine at home, all dishes and cookware are supplied in the kitchen. During the holidays, the main part of the home is decorated extensively, and you’ll be invited to a home tour one nighttime of your stay. This tour will allow you to experience what people all over Charleston come to see. Please note that the apartment has steps to enter, and both bedrooms are located on the second floor. Additionally, we do not allow events or music on the veranda, and the max. number of guests allowed on the property is four.
