Getting the best Charleston vacation home experience:

Finding your perfect vacation home:

  • To get the most suitable vacation home for your budget, we strongly suggest booking in Fall or Spring months. You'll benefit from lower rates, greater selection, gorgeous weather and the absence of giant crowds at Charleston area restaurants, beaches, and activities. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to book a beach front rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the Summer.
  • In the Charleston area area, The earlier your group can book a rental home, the easier your search will be. The most desirable vacation rentals are booked early. Reserving your vacation rental up to twelve months before your vacation is recommended. Holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving are excellent times to plan and book your rental home.
  • Owners sometimes offer special rates for veterans. Make sure to check with your host or property manager to see if rate reductions are available for your family before you book.
  • Property management companies often offer customers an option to purchase trip insurance. Trip insurance, which will generally cost between 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed trip time as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a bank account-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your property manager for specifics.
  • Often, property management companies and vacation rental houses supply Charleston area area travel guides which often include special offers, either offered directly by local companies, or through a partnership between the management company and the business itself. • Keep your rental home locked while you're away! Don't let thieves spoil your family vacation.
  • Double-check every room of the property to confirm that you've packed all of your belongings at check-out. Remember to check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden treasure. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
