The Bermuda is a completely restored unit on the first floor of a historic Charleston home and across the street from the Spring Islands resort-style pool. Cozy aesthetics paired with roomy bedrooms make 'The Bermuda' the ideal place to rest while appreciating your vacation.

Guest Access:
Each unit is equipped with coded locks that are changed regularly. You will receive all important check-in information 3 days prior to arrival.
Early check-in or late check-out requests are evaluated and granted on a case-by-case basis. We offer a bags storage space with a coded lock near the pool for all Spring Islands guests to use as needed. We welcome guests to use the pool while they await their check-in.

While theft is rare Charleston is a city and we encourage guests to ensure their cars are locked and all valuables have been removed.
Town & Island Co. welcomes all our furry companions. There is a $75 non returnable pet fee. You are responsible to inform us you are traveling with your pet(s), so we can add this charge to your booking. Please note: If upon check out, we see evidence of an unregistered pet, the $75 pet fee will be taken out of your SD authorization hold.

*Severe Weather Policy*
Our severe weather and Extenuating Circumstances: Hurricane Policy is as follows:
If a Mandatory Evacuation Order is issued by the Governor of SC specifically for the county in which your property is located for the dates of your stay, the extenuating circumstances policy will be in effect. In this case we WILL refund any deposits or payments paid by the guest and we shall have no additional liability concerning the reservation.
However, if a Mandatory Evacuation Order is NOT issued by the Governor of SC, then the standard cancellation policy will still apply and no refund will be issued. This is the case even if the guest chooses to cancel or travel is disrupted due to the storm.
Additionally, if there is adverse weather phenomenon outside of Charleston or SC (ie. other regions of the US or abroad) during the dates of the guests' stay which hinders the guests from traveling to the property, the standard cancellation policy will still apply. Therefore, a refund will NOT be issued.
***ATTENTION***
Hurricane season is during the months of June-November. During this time we HIGHLY recommend guests research and purchase travel insurance.

- Property management companies usually offer renters an option to add trip insurance. Trip insurance, which normally costs between 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any days missed as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel stay or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance might be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for details.

- Keep the property locked while you're gone! Don't let thieves spoil your trip.
- When it's time to leave, complete a walk-through to make sure you did not leave anything behind. Re-check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
- Go through the property a final time and scan for damages to contents or the property itself. We recommend inspecting the property with the property manager whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the host is not available, take video of the property to record its condition at check-out.
- After your trip, leave feedback! Hosts rely on excellent feedback to inspire future bookings. They'll be grateful for your feedback. Alternatively, if something wasn't right, other families will will be grateful for your review find their best rental home. Please be fair with your feedback If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the owner had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded reasonably to fix it.
