Summary:
Slide into the heart of Charleston like you own the place with Casa Zoë, your VIP pass to the city’s thrumming pulse, right where the action is—on the most elite street and on the best block in the Short Term Overlay District. But don’t worry, we keep the buzz at the doorstep; inside, it’s all about serene, chic getaway vibes, with a sprinkle of old Charleston magic and a generous pour of modern flair and whimsy.
The Space:
Welcome to Casa Zoë's Cabana House, where boho-chic isn't just a style, it's a way of life, framed by the iconic glamour of Slim Aarons art. This jewel is perched in the heartbeat of Charleston, a skip away from the culinary wizardry of James Beard-awarded eateries, the sweet temptations of Sugar Bakeshop, and the smoky seduction of South Bound, where the open fire kitchen meets a bar so sexy, it could write its own romance novel. Not to mention, you're surrounded by boutique shopping that could effortlessly turn a leisurely walk into an all-day affair.
Here, every detail is meticulously curated for your delight—extravagant linens that make mornings a dilemma, a kitchen that inspires even the culinary timid to experiment, and an HD TV for those who argue that a good binge-watch can indeed be therapeutic. The private porch and courtyard? Your personal getaway for sipping, laughing, or simply soaking in the Charleston appeal.
But it's not just the inside that counts; it's the location that makes Cabana House a standout. Imagine being so close to Charleston's best dining, cafes, and shopping that you'll wish you had more meals in a day and more room in your suitcase. It's a place where leaving feels impossible, not just because of the comfort, but because of the promise of what awaits just outside your door. So, dive into the Cabana House experience, where luxury meets location, and every visit feels like a discovery of something wonderfully new. Just remember, while the memories are yours to keep, the plush towels prefer to stay behind.
The Neighborhood:
Cannon-Elliotborough embodies the quintessential Charleston charm: a blend of fine dining, cozy cafes, vibrant bars, and one-of-a-kind stores that echo the quirkiness of an eccentric relative. With its streets inviting leisurely strolls, you'll navigate the neighborhood like a seasoned local, stumbling upon hidden gems at every corner. Positioned just moments from the bustling energy of King Street, it strikes a ideal balance between a calming getaway and the city's dynamic rhythm. For those seeking an authentic Charleston experience, Cannon-Elliotborough is the place to be—it captures the city's vibrant essence in a way that's lively yet pleasantly subdued.
Getting Around:
Stride with purpose or give your app a fast tap—getting around here is a breeze. Stroll at your own pace to discover neighborhood treasures, or summon an Uber with ease for a jaunt to the beach or a city escapade. Everything's within reach, with ample rides to whisk you away. In this pedestrian haven, you reign supreme, with convenience as your scepter and the streets your kingdom.
Other Things to Note:
Casa Zoë guests get exclusive access to The Wonderer Charleston, a private 2-acre getaway downtown with a pool, eateries, bars, cabanas, a gym, spa therapies, workspaces, live music, and social events. It's an adult-only club with a Bali-Tulum vibe. Note: Day passes are first-come, first-serve, and booking ahead is advised for visits between April 15th - September 1st. Groups over 8 need approval and may need to rent a cabana. The Club's entry age is 25, with exceptions for members' guests or special permissions. Check for age limits at special events.

Tips and Tricks to get the best vacation rental experience:
When to book & When to go:
- Reserve your vacation home as soon as possible. Rental schedules generally become available 12 months in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many groups reserve their Summer vacation rentals during Winter holiday get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.
- June, July, and August are the most expensive months in the Charleston area area. To get the most suitable rental for your budget, we suggest booking in the Spring or Fall. You'll benefit from lower rates, better selection, warm weather and the absence of large crowds at Charleston area restaurants, beaches, and activities. Many vacationers use this strategy to find larger homes within budget, or to reserve a beach front rental that would otherwise be unavailable during the high season. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Charleston area vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday on the coast? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with friends and family at the beach.
- Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective host if your group qualifies for a reduced rate.
- Management companies and individual rental owners frequently offer customers an option to buy trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which will generally cost 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed trip time as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or extra gasoline expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask the property owner for more information.
- Often, rental management companies and vacation rental houses supply Charleston area area visitor guides which include coupons, either offered directly by local companies, or by way of a relationship with the property management company and the business itself. You can also find visitors guide and coupon books at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers.
Finding the best rental in the Charleston area area:
- Choose a group leader, select your dates, and select a max budget.
- Note the number bedrooms and the configuration your group requires. Cabana House
- Precise information about bedrooms and bed types is commonly accessible on booking pages. If you don't see them listed, reach out to the host before reserving the home. Note that most listings specify the max. guest capacity, which typically includes pull-out couches. You will need to determine what bed configuration is right for your vacation.
- Are you traveling with furry, four-legged family members? Many vacation homes allow animals, but guidelines and restrictions apply. Allowable pet type, breed, and size are often limited. Remember to ask your host before booking, and study your agreement thoroughly! Additional fees or charges could be applied to your invoice.
- If there's an individual Charleston area attraction you simply love, keep an eye out for properties that are either near by, or those that cater to your needs.
- Proper accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for persons with a disability. Confirm all required amenities are available before reserving a rental
Considerations for your stay:
- Add the owner's information to your phone. Take a copy of check in/check out procedures.
- Ask questions. You may need instructions for a garage door opener, A/V setup or thermostat. Contact your property manager. They are there to help! A brief call prevents quite a few concerns.
- Lock your rental property while you're gone! Don't let crooks ruin your trip.
- Record any issues with the property at check in, and immediately contact the owner. We especially recommend e-mails and text messages, as they usually contain time stamps that are helpful if there is a dispute.
- Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like disagreeable visitors disrupting your peace. Practice the golden rule for best judgement. Happy residents may even recommend great beaches and places you would have never otherwise known!
- Don't forget to... Ask a local! Residents can frequently help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to see a beautiful sunrise or sunset, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for shopping?
- Don't leave anything behind! Before you drive away, walk through the rental property to make sure you've collected all belongings. Check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden belongings. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
- Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
- Leave a review! Property owners rely on great feedback to compel future bookings. They'll be much obliged for your review. Alternatively, if something went wrong, other vacationing families will appreciate that you share your feedback and help them have the best future vacation. Remember to be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the property manager could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded reasonably to fix it.
