We are currently only accepting daily day sails and two day one nighttime trips to seabrook island on mondays. The marina has banned everybody from overnight stays at this time.
If you are interested in sailing please look up Charleston Sailing Charters online and book Fate from the booking calendar.
Sail and stay on the unique and extravagant sailing yacht 'Fate', on the Charleston Peninsula. Fate has been the #1 sailing yacht in Charleston for 8 years running with over 368 private charters in 2016 alone. Luxurious accommodations for up to 4 guests overnight while at the dock in the City Marina. Spend the evening sailing around the harbor for 2 hours then dock at the City Marina for a nighttime out on the town. Catering is available for dinner harbor cruises or private romance at the dock. Be sure to try our 'Fate' Chardonnay or our 3 other selections, made exclusively for us by Medaloni Cellars and vineyard in Yadkin Valley North Carolina during your stay.

Our High Season is April through September and we do over 50 private charters per month. All overnights come with a 2 hour crewed charter. We are a sailing charter first and cater to those who wish to sail so most of our bookings are sailing only. We do limit our overnights to just one nighttime.

If you wish to sail for more than 2 hours, additional hours are $250 per hour.

Gratuity of 18%-20% is customary and not supplied.

Overnight stay is not required if you're just looking for day sails, harbor tours, or dinner cruises. We are Charleston's #1 charming charter yacht according to Forbes!
Our opulent 50ft Beneteau sailing yacht is meticulously kept and provides an ideal romantic hideaway for two or a fun adventure for up to 6. Two private staterooms are offered with plenty of privacy for couples, and plenty room to relax on the enormous deck or in the shade of the bimini. A 5 star rating and the #1 sailing charter in Charleston South Carolina for 8 years running.

“Fate” sleeps up to four guests, we do not allow more. Forward cabin has queen birth with a full bathroom/shower with electric head. Aft cabin has a center-line queen bed with private access to its own full bathroom with shower. The main salon has a sizable U-shaped dinette which comfortably seats 6 and converts to a lounge for watching TV. Entirely equipped galley (kitchen) has a gas oven and prepare top, microwave, refrigerator, and an array of cooking silverware. A flat screen TV and DVD player are available in each room, with the main salon equipped with a 32inch LED tv with dvd and USB for watching movies on memory stick. The stereo includes an IPod connection. Linens and towels included. Wifi is also available.

The yacht is not available for bare boat charters but we can arrange harbor cruises and overnight charters to close by locations like Bohicket Marina. One nighttime trip to Bohicket Marina and back are a great way to spend a weekend. The two days one nighttime for 4 to Bohicket Marina for $2,400 plus dockage, not including gratuity. This includes roughly 6 to 8 hours of sea time each way. We always circle the island sailing both offshore and the intra coastal so you can see it all.

Professional Photography available for those special occasions.

Also now available for huge events up to 20 guests, our new motor yacht Kismet for 2 hour harbor cruises. Contact us for details.

How to find the best rental experience:

Cost saving strategies:

  • Reserve your vacation rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules usually open 12 months in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many families reserve their Summer vacations during holiday gatherings. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months in coastal SC. Booking a rental in the Fall or Spring is a good way to save on your rental home. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of desirable homes. Many vacationers use this strategy to reserve larger homes, or to reserve a beach front vacation rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during the high season.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager or host if your group qualifies for a reduced rate.
  • Property management companies usually offer their guests an option to buy vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which generally will cost 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed days as a result of medical-related issues or weather, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or extra fuel expenses. Trip insurance can be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your property manager for specifics.
  • Often, rental management companies and vacation rental houses supply Charleston area area travel guides which include coupons, either offered independently by local businesses, or by way of a relationship between the management company and the business itself. You can also find Charleston area visitors guide magazine and coupon books at local gas stations and shopping centers.

Planning and picking your prefect Charleston area vacation home:

  • Select your vacation week and max budget.
  • Decide how many bedrooms and the configuration you need. Charleston's Premiere 50ft Luxury Sailing Yacht, 'Fate' and Kismet Party Yacht has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our Charleston area rental home search.
  • Precise information about bedrooms and bed counts & types is generally accessible on booking websites. If you don't see them listed, reach out to the host before you reserve your rental. Remember that most listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which typically includes pull out couches in living rooms. You'll need to work out what is best for your vacation family.
  • Do your family pets travel with you? Many vacation homes allow animals, but guidelines and restrictions apply. Allowable pet type, breed, and size are often limited. Ask your property manager before booking, and study your agreement! Pet fees or costs might be applied to your contract.
  • If there's an individual Charleston area beach you crave, keep an eye out for homes that are either close by, or those that cater especially to your desires.
  • Proper accessibility can make or break a vacation for persons with a disability. Confirm all necessary amenities are available before booking.

Tips to have a fantastic stay:

  • Put the owner's contact information in your smartphone.
  • Ask questions. You may need instructions for a hot tub, A/V setup or kitchen appliance. Contact your host. They are there to help! A brief phone call can prevent quite a few problems.
  • Lock your rental home while you are out. Protect the owner's property and your things!
  • Record any damages to the rental at check in, and immediately send them to the property manager. We specifically recommend texts and e-mails, as they usually contain time stamps that can be valuable if a dispute is filed.
  • Be a good neighbor. Often times, nearby homes are occupied by permanent residents. Respecting noise limits and parking regulations can make a stay significantly more pleasurable.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Local residents can usually help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to find the best seashells, have a great night out, or the best spots for bird watching?
  • Don't leave anything behind! Before you drive away, walk through the rental property to confirm you've collected all belongings. Re-check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden items. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Record a video to document the condition of the property.
  • After your trip, leave feedback! Property owners rely on good reviews to stimulate more bookings. They'll be much obliged for your feedback. Alternatively, if something wasn't as described, other families will appreciate that you share your feedback and help them have the best future vacation. Please be fair with your feedback If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the manager could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded expeditiously to fix it.
