Fate has been the #1 sailing yacht in Charleston for 8 years running with over 368 private charters in 2016 alone. Luxurious accommodations for up to 4 guests overnight while at the dock in the City Marina. Spend the evening sailing around the harbor for 2 hours then dock at the City Marina for a nighttime out on the town. Catering is available for dinner harbor cruises or private romance at the dock. Be sure to try our 'Fate' Chardonnay or our 3 other selections, made exclusively for us by Medaloni Cellars and vineyard in Yadkin Valley North Carolina during your stay.

Our High Season is April through September and we do over 50 private charters per month. All overnights come with a 2 hour crewed charter. We are a sailing charter first and cater to those who wish to sail so most of our bookings are sailing only. We do limit our overnights to just one nighttime.

If you wish to sail for more than 2 hours, additional hours are $250 per hour.

Gratuity of 18%-20% is customary and not supplied.

Overnight stay is not required if you're just looking for day sails, harbor tours, or dinner cruises. We are Charleston's #1 charming charter yacht according to Forbes!
Our opulent 50ft Beneteau sailing yacht is meticulously kept and provides an ideal romantic hideaway for two or a fun adventure for up to 6. Two private staterooms are offered with plenty of privacy for couples, and plenty room to relax on the huge deck or in the shade of the bimini. A 5 star rating and the #1 sailing charter in Charleston South Carolina for 8 years running.

Our top Rental booking tips:

How to get the best rental home value:

  • Summer months are the most expensive season in Charleston. To book the largest vacation home within budget, we highly recommend reserving in Spring or Fall. You'll benefit from lower rental rates, greater selection, gorgeous weather and the absence of large crowds at popular attractions and restaurants. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Charleston area vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation near the ocean? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with family and friends at your favorite beach.
  • Reserve your vacation rental as early as possible. Rental schedules generally open twelve months in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many groups reserve their Summer rentals during Thanksgiving and Christmas get-togethers. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • Some property managers offer discounts for active duty military and veterans. Check with your property manager to see if special offers are available for your group before you book.
  • Property management companies usually offer renters an option to purchase vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which normally costs 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed time as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as ensuing additional evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel stay or additional gasoline expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask the property owner for program terms and fees.
  • Find a copy of your local Charleston area area magazine when you check-in. If your rental home doesn't have one, you can find them at local shops and fuel stations. In addition to great local information, travel guide magazines contain discounts for nearby accommodations, restaurants and tours.

Filter your rental search:

  • Start by having your family choose dates and a maximum budget.
  • Note the number beds and what type of bedroom configuration your family requires. Charleston's Premiere 50ft Luxury Sailing Yacht, 'Fate' and Kismet Party Yacht has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our Charleston area rental home search.
  • Specific descriptions of bedrooms and bed counts is usually available on booking pages. If not, email or call the property management company before booking the home. Note that most property listings specify maximum guest capacity, which usually includes pull-out couches and bunk beds. You will need to establish what bed configuration is optimal for your group.
  • Are you visiting for a specific event or attraction? Try a map search to browse nearby properties.
  • Proper accessibility can make or break a vacation for guests that require the use of a wheelchair. .
  • Traveling with pets? Although a number of vacation homes allow pets or animals, guidelines and costs vary per property. Type of pet, size and breeds may be limited. Make sure to ask before booking, and study your agreement thoroughly! Pet fees or could be applied to your invoice.

More tips for your stay:

  • Take a copy of the owner's contact number and check in/check out procedures for your .
  • During check-in, note any issues with the property and immediately alert the owner. Record all coorespondence.
  • Ask questions. You may need instructions for a garage door opener, A/V setup or WIFI setup. Contact your property manager. They are there to help! A brief call can prevent many difficulties.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like obnoxious vacationers bothering your life at home. Apply the golden rule for common sense. If they like you, locals might even recommend great restaurants and places you would've not otherwise known!
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Neighbors can usually help. Who better to ask where to enjoy a steak with a view, have a great night out, or the best spots for shopping?
  • Keep your rental home locked while you're gone! Don't let burglars spoil your holiday.
  • Don't leave anything behind! Before departing, take a walk through the rental property to reconfirm you've collected all personal items. Make sure to check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden treasure. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Inspect the rental one final time and look for damage. We suggest walking through with the property manager whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the host isn't available, ensure that you take photos of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
  • Remember to leave feedback! Property owners rely on great reviews to drive more bookings. They'll be thankful for your feedback. Alternatively, if something went awry, other families will will be grateful for your feedback and help them have the best future vacation. Please be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the owner had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded quickly to solve it.
