The Space: Classic Charleston appeal meets colorful bohemian flair within this bespoke 2 bedroom/2 bathroom unit. Located on the second floor of a pastel pink home reminiscent of Charleston’s Rainbow Row, this unit features both modren design elements and extravagant features you are sure to adore. This space is located on the west side of Downtown Charleston near the Harleston Village neighborhood, which is highly coveted by locals and visitors alike. Because of its proximity to major roads and local hotspots, it is ideal for modest groups who are eager to experience the city’s energetic ambiance.

The front door is located atop a modest set of stairs near the right side of the home. Upon arrival, you will notice a modest round plaque on the doorframe acknowledging the home as a Carolopolis Award winner. Presented by the Preservation Society of Charleston, these awards recognize the efforts of those who strive to preserve historic structures and go the additional mile to protect what makes Charleston so gorgeous and unique.

Just inside the front door awaits an entryway and stairwell, providing direct and private access to the second floor unit. At the top of the stairs, you are welcomed into the space by a comfortable living area. Resplendent with natural light and space for standing, sitting or calming, the main living space is relaxing and inviting. This room features access to the balcony, Intelligent TV signed into Peacock Premium TV (which has all of your favorite shows, movies, live news and sports), and a table that seats four guests. Beyond the living area and an accent wall adorned with chic blue palm wallpaper is the first of two bedrooms. Ideal for resting, working, or getting ready for a day of exploring the city, this bedroom features a desk and chair as well as a king size bed, full length mirror, TV, ceiling fan, and an open closet. The first bathroom is located just across the hall from the bedroom and features a cavernous walk in shower with a rain shower head.

The kitchen is located just a few steps down the hall and is nothing short of awesome. From the vibrant indigo wall design and metallic artwork to the sleek appliances, lacquered subway tile, and brushed gold hardware, the design elements in the kitchen add a touch of modern luxury to this classic Charleston abode. The kitchen provides direct access to the second bedroom, which features a similarly cozy color palette as well as an open closet, mounted TV, ceiling fan, king size bed, and an ensuite bathroom.

The kitchen also leads to the multi-use laundry room, which includes a full size washer, dryer, ironing board, and refrigerator. The back door is located just past the laundry room and provides access to an open air stairwell, off street parking and a second balcony for guests to appreciate.

If you plan to savor The Wonderer anytime between April 15th - September 1st, we strongly suggest booking in advance to guarantee access. Prices are subject to change.

Any group exceeding 8 or more guests must be approved separately by contacting
the Wonderer directly. If using the Pool area, it is required that events of 8+ rent a Cabana.

The Club has a minimum age requirement of 25 years old (unless you're a member, a guest of a member, or receive a special exception from club management). Some special events may have varying age restrictions.

availability, no inconvenience credits will be awarded, and any issues related to your visit

Please note that if there is inclement weather in the other 49 states, prohibiting the traveler (or guests in traveler’s group) from getting to Charleston, a refund will not be issued and, Owner/Host or Property Management Company shall have no liability with respect to the Reservation. During months where there is a potential for inclement weather, such as hurricane season, we strongly suggest travelers obtain insurance.

*This is a licensed and legal Short Term Rental. Neighborhood peaceful hours are from 10pm-8am. If violated the city will issue a $1047 fine. Guests are also responsible for following the City of Charleston's Ordinance rules under Section 54-227.

*Our city is growing quickly. With that growth comes construction. Unfortunately, there’s nothing we can do about the resulting noise or the current, cosmetic state of some neighboring buildings. During your stay, this shouldn’t be too bothersome, since the city’s noise ordinance dictates peaceful hours between 10pm - 8am.

*10+ Day Stays are subject to an additional cleaning fee at host's discretion.

*Alteration Policy: Any change of dates or cancellation of any nights of the original reservation will not be approved within 60 days or arrival.

*Please use painters tape if you plan on using tape to decorate for an event. If the wall is damaged due to tape removal or decorations, you will have to pay $500 for repainting.
