Utilize the convenience of the elevator at the complex to make unloading to the fourth floor a breeze. You'll enter on the first level, where you'll find the living, kitchen, and dining spaces - along with striking vistas of the Atlantic of course. The majority of the furnishings, fixtures, and appliances were refreshed in the renovation with the convenience and comfort of our guests as the first priority.
The living room features new, modern furnishings, a full-size pullout couch for additional sleeping capability, and a Intelligent TV for streaming all of your favorite shows and movies. A huge dining table offers seating for eight, ideal for group dinners after a long day at the beach. Speaking of dining, the kitchen is entirely equipped with anything you'd need to prepare a meal and includes a double oven for max. efficiency.
Also on the lower level is the first of three bedrooms, with two twin sized beds (Bedroom #1) and an en-suite bathroom. Take the stairs to the second level where the remaining bedrooms reside. The primary suite with a king bed (Bedroom #2) is beach-facing, with impressive ocean vistas and a private balcony. Wake up to a Carolina sunrise every morning and the sound of the ocean. This room has an en-suite bathroom and Intelligent TV as well. The final bedroom is across the hall with a queen bed (Bedroom #3) and another private balcony, this time overlooking the golf course with the most extraordinary sunsets!
At the Shipwatch Villas, appreciate some of the many amenities including a beach front pool, kid's pool, a playground, and an observation deck overlooking the ocean! All just a fast elevator ride away. Located just across the way from the golf course, playing 18 holes couldn't be easier if you have a golf-enthusiast in the group.

Tips and Tricks to get the perfect vacation property experience:
How to get the best value:
- June, July, and August are the most expensive months in coastal SC. Reserve your Charleston area rental in Spring or Fall to enjoy warm weather while saving money and avoiding crowds. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to book an oceanfront rental that would otherwise be unavailable during the Summer.
- In the Charleston area area, The earlier you can reserve a vacation rental, the easier your search will be. The most desirable vacation rentals are reserved early. Reserving your rental home up to twelve months before your travel dates is recommended. Holiday gatherings are excellent times to plan and book your vacation home.
- Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner or host whether your family qualifies for a special rate.
- Property management companies usually offer their guests an option to buy trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which will generally cost 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed days as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel or extra fuel expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a bank account-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your property manager for more information.
- Many management companies and vacation rental houses supply Charleston area area travel guide magazines that include money-saving deals, either offered independently by local businesses, or by way of a partnership between the rental management company and the business itself. You can also find Charleston area visitors guide magazine and coupon books at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers.
Selecting the perfect vacation home in the Charleston area area:
- Choose vacation week and maximum budget.
- Note the number bedrooms and what type of bedroom configuration you need. Top Floor Oceanfront Penthouse - Pool, Views, Playground! has 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our Charleston area rentals search.
- Specific information about bedrooms and bed counts & types is commonly accessible on booking websites. Otherwise, email the property manager before you book your rental. Remember that most listings specify the max. guest capacity, which often includes pull-out couches and bunk beds.
- Is your group looking for particular amenities? Most websites include search filters with amenity lists. Use these to your advantage to find the perfect rental home.
- Suitable accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for guests with disabilities. Confirm all required amenities are available before reserving a rental.
- If your group is bringing pets, you'll need to book a pet-friendly rental. Get information on breed, size, and type restrictions. Often, property owners charge pet deposits and fees.
Have a great stay:
- Review check in & check out procedures before leaving home. Take a printed copy, and add a note with the directions to your smartphone.
- During check-in, document any damages to the rental property and immediately contact the host. Keep records of all correspondence in case a dispute arises.
- Hosts are available to help! Don't be shy to ask any questions during your stay.
- Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like obnoxious visitors bothering your peace. Apply the golden rule for common sense. Happy residents may even recommend great beaches and places you would've never otherwise known!
- Don't forget to... Ask a local! Locals can often point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to find the fresh catch of the day, have a great night out, or the best spots for fine dining?
- Protect the property owner (and your stuff!) by locking and securing the home when you are gone, just like you would back home.
- Upon check-out, complete a walk-through to confirm you didn't forget any personal items. Make sure to check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden treasure. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
- Go through the property one final time and scan for damage. We suggest inspecting the property with the property manager whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the manager isn't available, remember to take photographs of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
- Did your family have a wonderful vacation? Many vacation rental websites make it easy for guests to provide comments. If your rental and/or host was terrific, they would love to hear it. If anything was amiss and they failed to address it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make a note as part of your feedback.
