Within 0.5 miles, there are a dozen eateries and bars, a coffee shop, grocery store, pharmacy, laundromat, salon, two spas, a gym, and a yoga studio.
Our space is a separate apartment attached to our home. You have your own driveway, porch, and entrance. While we don’t have a full kitchen, there is a mini refrigerator, Keurig, and microwave.
You enter the rental into your own living room with a pull-out queen couch. Beyond that, there are two bedrooms and a bathroom. One of the bedrooms has one queen bed and the other has two queen beds.

How to get the best Charleston rental experience:
When to book & When to go:
- Summer months are high season in Charleston. To find the most suitable rental for your budget, we strongly suggest booking in Spring or Fall. You'll benefit from lower rates, better selection, warm weather and the absence of giant crowds at your favorite restaurants and activities. Many vacationers use this strategy to find larger homes within budget, or to book an oceanfront vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable during the Summer months.
- In the Charleston area area, The sooner your group can reserve a vacation rental, the better your selection will be. The most desirable vacation homes are booked early. Booking your rental home up to 12 months before your travel dates is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to search for and reserve your vacation home.
- Some owners offer discounts for veterans and active duty military. Ask your host or property manager if discounts are available for your group.
- Booking websites typically offer customers an option to add vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which generally will cost anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed vacation time as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel stay or additional fuel expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a welcome relief if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for additional information.
- Often, management companies and vacation rental houses supply Charleston area area travel guides which often include special deals, either offered independently by local businesses, or through a partnership between the rental management company and the business itself. You can also find Charleston area visitors guide magazine and coupon books at local shops and grocery stores.
Filter your search:
- Select a group lead, select your trip dates, and choose a spending budget.
- Determine how many bedrooms and what type of bedroom configuration your group requires. The Apollo has 3 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms.
- Specific information regarding bedrooms and bed types is normally available online. Otherwise, contact the host before you book the vacation home. Note that most property listings specify maximum guest capacity, which typically includes sofa beds and bunks. You'll need to determine what configuration is optimal for your vacation.
- Is your group looking for specific amenities? Most rental search websites include search filters for amenities. Filtering by amenity will allow you to quickly find the best rental home.
- Proper accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for persons with a disability. Remember to confirm all necessary amenities are available and included before booking
- If your family is traveling with pets, you will need a pet-friendly rental. Ask for information on breed, size, and type restrictions. Usually, property managers charge additional pet fees.
More considerations:
- We recommend storing the host's information in your smartphone.
- To ensure that damages aren't linked to your family's visit, inspect for any problem areas during check in. text the rental manager right away to record your findings. If there is a dispute about legal responsibility later, having the recorded issues and contact attempts will be useful.
- Hosts are great sources of help! Don't be shy to ask any questions before, during, or after your stay.
- Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like unpleasant vacationers bothering your peace and quiet. Use the golden rule for common sense. If they like you, locals might even recommend great local food and attractions you would have never otherwise known!
- Don't forget to... Ask a local! Neighbors can typically help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to find the best bike paths, have a great night out, or the best spots for shopping?
- Lock your vacation home while you're out and about. Protect the owner's property and your stuff!
- Double-check every room of the rental property to make sure that you've packed all personal items at departure. Make sure to check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden treasure. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
- Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
- Did your family have a wonderful time? Most rental management companies make it easy for clients to provide reviews. If your rental and/or property manager was terrific, they would love to hear about it. If anything was out of order and they failed to correct it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make it a point as part of your feedback.
