Welcome to your home away from home! This guest home private, with its own entrance, and is attached to a main home. It sleeps 4, with 2 in the queen bed, 1 on an air bed and 1 on a Lucid folding bed. We provide WiFi, toiletries, linens & towels, clothes iron, hair dryer, full kitchen, beach essentials, coffee & tea. Watch waterfowl while sitting by the serene backyard creek, or go on an adventure to Folly or downtown.

Centrally located for your beach hideaway, or business trip. James Island is close to everything, and very simple to get to.

In addition to the bedroom, full bath, full kitchen, and living room, our backyard is a magnificent place to hang out. We have sizable picnic table, a charcoal grille, a hot tub, a enormous garden, and a fire pit. So much to appreciate as you are waterfront. You are even welcome to fish in the waterway (catch & release), or use our kayaks for a jaunt down the estuary. Please note: our backyard is shared with other guests from two other units.

We have a intelligent TV with many apps to savor.

We can only accommodate two guest cars. We give you a code to enter on the keypad a few days before you arrive. You can check in anytime after 4pm. We charge a $50 early check-in/late check-out fee.

We live locally and are available to address any issues that may arise during your stay or to answer any questions.

No smoking, drugs, or events.

There is a creek behind the home. If you let your kids into the backyard, please be aware that the creek is attached, and be water safe.

We provide a bag of beach essentials, which includes beach towels, beach chairs (4), which you are welcome to use during your stay. Does not include snorkeling gear.

We are centrally located on James Island, about 10 mins. from Downtown Charleston, 15 to Folly Beach, close to historical landmarks, eateries, museums, and tons of fun things to do. The closest beach is about five mins. down the road. We are close to stores, museums, eateries, and entertainment. There is a grocery store one block away (with a Starbucks inside).

Please note: Our property is located on a busy street, and some traffic noise may be noticeable, particularly during busier times of day. This is a permanent feature of the location and is unfortunately not something we can change. If you are especially sensitive to traffic or street noise, we encourage you to choose a property in a quieter setting that may be better suited to your preferences. We want to make sure our home is the right fit for your stay!

Uber or Lyft are your best bet if you don’t bring a car. It is a short Uber ride to downtown. Feel complimentary to use our grass to turn your car around on. Being on a busy street, it’s easier to pull onto the street when facing forward.

The cleaning fee is based on a "courteous guest". Any excessive dirtiness or neglect will accrue an additional $95 fee.
