You’ll have private access to your own 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom suite, plus a private balcony that’s ideal for morning coffee or unwinding after a day in the city. Inside, you’ll find a full kitchen for simple meals at home, an in-unit washer and dryer, high-speed WiFi for remote work, central HVAC for year-round comfort, and a TV with streaming services. Traveling with a little one? Pack n plays are available upon request. Parking is supplied in our adjacent off-street lot across the street, making exploring Charleston simple whether you’re here for work, a weekend hideaway, or a longer stay.

You’re in the heart of Elliotborough/Cannonborough, a mid-peninsula neighborhood that sits close to the Upper King corridor and is packed with locally adored eateries, coffee spots, and stores; ideal for exploring on foot.
For an painless walk to standout bites, guests appreciate heading to neighborhood favorites like Xiao Bao Biscuit (Rutledge Ave), Leon’s Oyster Shop (King St), and Southbound (Cannon St) plus other close by Cannonborough/Elliotborough staples. If you need recommendations, let us know and we'll be happy to provide you some of our favorite choices.

You can build your ideal Charleston itinerary of meals, shopping, coffee, and sightseeing largely on foot. Then come back to your peaceful top-floor getaway at the end of the nighttime.
Getting Around:
We are only 3 blocks from Upper King Street, so most guests prefer to walk and discover the city. The beach is 15 - 20 mins. away by car. There is also a complimentary shuttle offered by the city that runs along King Street (3 blocks away) to fashionable stops. Bicycle units are available close by or you might savor trying a pedicab taxi.
We offer complimentary parking on site or in the lot we manage across the street.

Please be advised that all guests will be asked to sign a rental usage agreement that governs the terms of the stay. By completing the reservation you agree to the following:
- You agree to be bound by our rental terms and conditions.
- You acknowledge that you may be asked to provide a copy of your official government-issued photo ID, confirm your contact information, provide a valid credit card with a name that matches your ID. The information is collected for screening and verification only and is not stored or used for any other purposes.
- You understand that your check-in instructions might be withheld until you have successfully finished the rental agreement and supplied a copy of valid ID.
- Any guest who confirms a reservation will be responsible for damages in an amount outlined in the rental agreement.
House Rules
We are happy to host you for your stay with us! We want every guest to appreciate a comfortable, well-kept, and relaxing experience, so we ask that you observe the following home guidelines during your stay.
1. Please respect the home and our neighbors Please be considerate of neighbors, close by residents, and other guests at all times. Loud, disruptive, or inappropriate behavior is not allowed.
2. No events or events Parties, receptions, and similar gatherings are not allowed unless approved by us in writing in advance.
3. Outdoor spaces are for peaceful enjoyment Porches and outdoor areas are intended for relaxation and casual conversation. In accordance with the Charleston County noise ordinance, peaceful hours begin at 10:00 PM. After that time, noise and music must be kept to a minimum out of respect for neighbors and other guests.
4. Please keep the property tidy Please keep the home, porches, and surrounding exterior areas clean and complimentary of trash or debris during your stay. Drinks, bottles, and personal items should not be left lying around inside or outside.
5. Please help us care for the home To protect the property, please use coasters on wooden furnishings, place coolers only in the designated outdoor area, and avoid wearing high heels inside the home. Please flush only toilet paper, do not rearrange furnishings, do not attach anything to walls, doors, or furnishings, and do not use deadbolts to hold doors open. Please do not lean on or stand on porch railings.
6. Store personal items discreetly Towels, garments, bicycles, beach gear, and other personal items should not be hung, stored, or left in exterior areas where they are visible from the street or neighboring properties. Bicycles must be stored only in approved areas.
7. No smoking, vaping, or open flames indoors Smoking, vaping, and open flames are not allowed inside the property.
8. No family pets Family Animals are not allowed at the property.
9. Please follow parking and car guidelines RVs, campers, boats, motorbikes, and other upsized or prohibited cars may not be operated, stored, or parked on the property. Please follow all parking instructions included by our team.
10. Thermostat settings must remain within range For system performance and property protection, HVAC thermostats must remain within the 69 to 76 degree range.
11. Please request approval for visitors and onsite services Reservations should reflect the correct number of overnight guests. If you would like to invite visitors to the property or arrange any onsite services, including professional photography, hair styling, or other third event salon services, please obtain host approval in advance.
12. Booking details may be requested Reservation requests may be subject to additional review. If requested, please be prepared to provide the full name of the primary guest, the total number of guests, and the reason for your stay.
13. Please report any concerns promptly Upon arrival, please let us know promptly if anything appears damaged, missing, or unsatisfactory. If any issue arises during your stay, notify us right away so we have the opportunity to help.
14. Local rules and booking terms apply Guests must comply with all applicable local rules and the booking terms in effect at the time of reservation, including the cancellation policy.

Interaction with Guests:
We have a 24/7 guest services number for guest staying at The Cottages on Cannon. There are no shared surfaces or spaces. We are a family owned and operated business and care very much for our guests experience. We are available to help as needed.
