Come savor some tranquility and peaceful in this private, simple (yet comfortable) bungalow located under the Oak trees of Johns Island. 20 mins. from Downtown Charleston, Folly Beach, and Kiawah. Appreciate a fire in the fire pit, heat up the grille for some fresh seafood or take a hot shower under the stars! (Just to be clear, there is also a very nice interior shower!)

The Sleepy Shack is private, comfortable, and clean! The studio apartment is ideal for two tenants. Three can effortlessly fit in this 500 square foot cabin if one person doesn't mind the sleeping on the couch.

The rear porch is private and guests have their own separate outdoor area with a fire bowl and grille.

The Sleepy Shack is within walking distance to Low Tide Brewery and a very close drive to other various dining options. Catch a movie at the Terrace Theater or appreciate some live music at The Pour House (within 5 miles).

Come discover Johns Island - The Vineyard, Sweet Water Distillery, the Tea Plantation, Angel Oak, the Johns Island Farmers Market. Johns Island is also ideal for those who wish to enjoy distance cycling through the oak trees, rivers and marshes of this rural (yet convenient) area. The wide, peaceful beaches of Kiawah are just a breathtaking drive down the way.

Or hop over to neighboring James Island to enjoy the fun and sun of Folly Beach. Check out the fishing and surfing at the pier, or relax in the tidal pools, or shop and dine on the main drag. Grab some fresh Seafood from Crosby's or Huff's and bring it back to prepare on the grille!

James Island County park is about 7 mins. from the bungalow and offers spectacular bicycle and walking trails as well as climbing wall and other great opportunities for fun with the kids!

20 mins. from the heart of Downtown Charleston! Knock the sand off your flip flops and head downtown where you can enjoy broad history, culture and (definitely) food options! A gorgeous place the visit - there are Harbor Tours, Carriage Rides, Ghost Tours, The Market, Water Front Park, Marion Square and an unending assortment of dining options to discover!
