Over the counter is a inch flat screen tv. Throughout the apartment you will savor the chic wood floors.

The three designer BEDROOMS have full closets and chests of drawers and dressing tables, bedside tables and reading lamps. One bedroom has a new king bed and the other two rooms have new queen size beds. The two bathrooms are conveniently accessed and have new granite counters, new sinks and stone floors. Tucked into one bathroom is a stack washer/dryer

The piazza is a typical appealing Charleston feature and helps give our visitors a true sense of being a "Charlestonian". We have seating for 6 where you can appreciate your morning coffee or afternoon libation after exploring the cozy streets, stores and eateries.

GROUPS
On the first floor of this building is a newly refreshed 2 bedroom/2 bathroom apartment and next door to these apartments is another Vacation Rental By Owner by the same owner with 3 bedrooms. The three units combine to make an just right setting for a bigger group. The office of our unit manager, Jamie, is in this building. She always receives rave reviews for her help in resolving your traveling issues. She will arrange your parking pass and can help you find a chef or rent a fishing or sailing excursion. Just ask!

This apartment is new, appealing, comfortable and tasteful. It has been inspired by one of the premium, authentic Charleston designers.

LEGAL & BEST LOCATION
This glamourous three bedroom completely redone apartment is delightfully located in the freshly designated legal "brief term overlay" for legal brief term rental in Charleston. Within the overlay, this unit is in the southernmost part of that area which means it is as close as you can legally be to the South of Broad/Calhoun St historic districts without an owner present. Be sure to study the map because not all "historic" units are so well located.

HISTORIC AND MODERN
In addition, some units in the overlay are new construction. When visiting historic Charleston, why would you want to stay in a new condo when you can stay in a "Carolopolis" award winning historic building which has been freshly updated with all the modern comforts?

THE NEIGHBORHOOD
Slightly north of the College of Charleston on historic St. Philip Street this beautiful apartment is the ideal base to enjoy an enchanting Charleston experience. Charleston is like Rome, Italy in that most of the notable monuments and historic details are found in a fairly contained area. You can literally walk from the apartment to the southernmost extremes of the Historic District in under 30 mins.. This journey will take you through the Historic King Street District and the neighborhoods of Cannonborough, Elliottborough, Radcliffborough, Harleston Village and finally South of Broad until you reach the Battery itself.

Go east one block and you are on King Street, the home of designer stores, eclectic stores, antiques stores and a host of other fascinating stores as well as nationally acclaimed eateries. Upper King is the new center of Charleston's distinguished restaurant and nighttime life. A fresh survey of the "essential 18 Charleston Eateries" has seven of their eateries (Hominy Grille, Indago, The Grocery, The Macintosh, The Ordinary, Two Boroughs Larder, Xiao Bao Biscuit) within four blocks of the apartment.

It is the ideal opportunity for groups of all sizes to organize a joint rental but each apartment is separate and is its own place. The vrbo numbers for the other units are:
1531369 1446527. 1994546. 1994547 1994550
1351757. 1662029. 834186. 567555. 467877

TEAVEL INSURANCE AND CREDIT CARD INFO
We strongly advise during the month of September particularly, and some into October that you buy trip insurance. It is the peak of hurricane season in our area. The optional trip insurance offered through Vacation Rental By Owner would cover any weather related cancellation. We do not offer refunds or date changes for any reason outdoor the cancellation period.

Money-saving Tips

  • Find the official tourism bureau where you want to travel. Many tourism bureaus supply guides with savings for lodging, dining and activities. Search for these magazines and coupon books, since this allows vacationers to experience the very same terrific activities at a quite often substantial discounted.
  • Are you willing to switch your trip dates? Off-peak rates are usually a fraction of maximum prices.
  • A number of property management companies and owners offer discounts for active duty and veteran members of the U.S. Armed forces, or returning vacation goers to the same rental. Make sure to ask property manager to see if your visiting group is eligible for a markdown.
  • Some rental homes are basically catered to specific guests, whether it's oceanside homes with weekly fishing pier passes, city-center homes with walkable access to restaurants or waterfront homes that feature private boat launching areas. You will definitely get the most value from a rental that most thoroughly satisfies your ideal trip setting, regardless if it costs a little more.
  • Think about obtaining trip insurance along with your lease contract. Trip insurance, which usually costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base vacation rental price, offers guests reimbursement of their vacation costs for any days missed a result of medical related emergencies or hurricanes, in addition to ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or additional fuel. Trip insurance is definitely a bank account-saver if the unforseen happens .

Bedrooms and Bed Sizes Matter

Decide on Your Budget

If there is a disagreement about legal responsibility later, having the recorded problems and contact attempts will be very helpful.
  • You could need instructions for a gas fireplace, TV or hot tub. Contact your rental manager. They are there to help. A quick phone call eliminates many headaches.
  • Make sure to be a good next-door neighbor. Permanent residents frequently live within earshot. Remember the golden rule and treat others the same way you'd like to be treated by visitors next to your home.
  • Ask a local. Natives can frequently point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to order the best chicken wings, have a great date night, or the best places for wildlife?
  • Ensure you protect the property owner (and your things!) by keeping the vacation home locked up while you are away, exactly like you would at home.

Checking Out

  • Tidy up a bit. Even if you're having to pay a housekeeping fee, The property is required to be in good condition. Sinks stuffed with pots and pans, excessive beach sand on the flooring and sticky messes should be addressed before leaving.
  • As soon as everything is out, do a walk-through of the rental home to confirm no damage occurred in the course of your stay. We recommend walking through with the property manager whenever possible (this isn't always the case).. If the property manager is not available, ensure that you take photos of the property to record its condition.
  • Did you have a great time? Just about all property management companies and rental home sites make it easy for travellers to offer feedback. If your vacation rental and/or property manager was terrific, they will appreciate your compliments.
