This comfortable, tucked away pied-à-terre features 2 queen bedrooms, one with a (non-working) original brick fireplace, and each with its own modern bathroom. The open kitchen/living area has an island with stools, and just outside the French entry doors is a brick patio with Adirondack chairs for outdoor calming.
These 4 newly redecorated apartments were created in a 2018 restoration of this classic, turn-of-the-century Charleston home. Every effort was made to preserve and restore the fine craftsmanship of timeless original details such as paneled wainscoting, original brick fireplaces, exposed wooden beam ceiling structures, antique heart pine floors throughout, and a central staircase with curved lacquered walls and ceiling. These striking antique flourishes are accented with cozy, modern furnishings and art. For your comfort and convenience, these units all have central heat and air, dedicated WIFI, and a TV in every bedroom and living room. From modern, ceramic tiled baths with sliding glass door showers, to bespoke kitchens with stainless-steel appliances, you will have access to all the creature amenities of home in these lovingly restored apartments. For your comfort and convenience, these units all have central heat and air, dedicated WIFI, and a TV in every bedroom and living room.

Booking the best Charleston rental experience:
Find your perfect rental home:
- Summer is the most expensive season in Charleston. Book your rental property in the Fall or Spring shoulder seasons to enjoy warm weather while saving money and avoiding crowded roads, restaurants, and activities. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Charleston area vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation on the coast? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with family and friends at your favorite beach.
- Reserve your vacation home as soon as possible. Rental schedules often become available twelve months in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many families reserve their Summer vacations during Christmas and Thanksgiving gatherings. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
- Veterans and Active Duty Military members may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager if your vacationing group qualifies for a special promotion or discount.
- Property managers frequently offer renters an option to obtain vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which normally costs between 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed vacation time as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel stay or additional gasoline expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask the property owner for additional information.
- Often, property management companies supply Charleston area area travel guide magazines which include special deals, either offered directly by local companies, or through a relationship with the rental management company and the business itself. You can also find Charleston area area magazine and coupon books at local shops and grocery stores.
Use filters to search efficiently:
- Start by having your group select vacation dates and a budget.
- Decide how many beds and the bed configuration your family requires. Charming condo with incredible location, cable TV & full kitchen has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our Charleston area rentals search.
- Precise details about bedrooms and bed counts is generally available online. If you don't see them listed, email or call the property owner before reserving the rental. Remember that most property listings specify the max. guest capacity, which oftentimes includes pull-out couches.
- If there's a certain Charleston area destination you are crazy about, look for homes that are either nearby, or those that cater to your needs.
- Proper accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for those with limited mobility. Remember to confirm all necessary amenities are available before reserving a rental
- If your family is bringing pets, you'll need to find a pet-friendly vacation rental. Request information on breed, weight, and type restrictions. Often, property owners require additional pet deposits and fees.
Considerations for your stay:
- Review arrival and departure procedures before traveling. Save the instructions to your smartphone, and take a printed backup.
- Note any damages to the rental at check in, and immediately send them to the owner. We especially recommend e-mails and text messages, as they usually contain time stamps that are helpful if there is a dispute.
- Hosts are there to help! Feel free to ask questions before, during, or after your stay.
- Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like disagreeable vacationers bothering your peaceful neighborhood. Apply the golden rule for best judgement. Happy residents may even recommend great beaches and attractions you would have never otherwise known!
- Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Local residents can typically point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to spend a rainy day, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for crabbing?
- Ensure you protect the rental owner (and your stuff!) by locking the rental when you are away, just like you would at home.
- Don't leave anything behind! Just before departing, walk through the rental property to make sure you've collected all personal belongings. Remember to check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden treasure. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
- Record a video to document the condition of the property.
- Leave feedback! Property managers rely on great reviews to stimulate future bookings. They'll be much obliged for your review. Alternatively, if something went awry, other families will be thankful you shared your feedback and help them have the best future vacation. Please be fair with your feedback If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the host had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded expeditiously to fix it.
