Summary:
Slide into the heart of Charleston like you own the place with Casa Zoë, your VIP pass to the city’s thrumming pulse, right where the action is—on the most elite street and on the best block in the Short Term Overlay District. But don’t worry, we keep the buzz at the doorstep; inside, it’s all about serene, chic getaway vibes, with a sprinkle of old Charleston magic and a generous pour of modern flair.
The Space:
Brand New and Chic: Casa Zoë's Royal House, where boho-chic isn't just a style, it's a way of life - framed by the iconic glamour of Slim Aarons art. This jewel is perched in the heartbeat of Charleston, a skip away from the culinary wizardry of James Beard-awarded eateries, the sweet temptations of Sugar Bakeshop 3 doors down, and the smoky seduction of South Bound across the street, where the open fire kitchen meets a bar so sexy, it could write its own romance novel. Not to mention, you're surrounded by boutique shopping that could conveniently turn a leisurely walk into an all-day affair.
This 8 Bedroom all ensute, 10 bathroom masterpiece, where every inch screams "design goals" and every room whispers tales of Slim Aarons' poolside glam. It's like living in a Pinterest board come to life, but with way better stories. This isn't just a crash pad; it's a boho-chic sanctuary located in Charleston’s heartbeat, where refinement and whimsy split an iced tea and can't agree on the sugar.
From the granite-drenched bathrooms that'll make your selfies 100% more glamorous, two kitchens so equipped, they could host their own cooking shows (Smeg appliances supplied, because we're fancy like that), this space was designed for those who laugh in the face of ordinary. Bedrooms? We've got 8 - each with its own ensuite, because queueing for bathrooms is so last season. Two glameroulsy styled living rooms with French doors that open onto two porches perched to watch the world walk by. And for the culinary inclined or caffeine-dependent, we've thrown in everything but the kitchen sink—though, of course, there’s one of those too, and it’s pretty swanky.
Just a saunter away from Charleston’s culinary and shopping nirvana, you're ideally placed to dive into the city's vibrant scene—or just people-watch with a locally roasted coffee in hand. Whether you’re crashing in one of the queen beds or the Instagram worthy luxey bunk beds (because why should kids have all the fun?), this space promises not just a stay but a story. So come for the luxury, stay for the laughs, and leave with plans to return. Casa Zoë is calling.
The Neighborhood:

Appreciate some of Charleston's best local dining with The Grocery, SouthBound and The Ordinary, all located within 3 blocks of the bungalow. For a morning sweet treat try Sugar Bakeshop just steps away. Recently opened, family run sandwich shop, Ladles, is directly across the street.
Getting Around:
tride with purpose or give your app a fast tap—getting around here is a breeze. Stroll at your own pace to discover neighborhood treasures, or summon an Uber with ease for a jaunt to the beach or a city escapade. Everything's within reach, with ample rides to whisk you away. In this pedestrian haven, you reign supreme, with convenience as your scepter and the streets your kingdom.
Other Things to Note:
All guests staying at Casa Zoë have been granted exclusive access to The Wonderer Charleston. This 2-acre private membership adult only club located in downtown Charleston is a modern getaway offering resort-style amenities and a Bali-Tulum-inspired ambiance unparalleled on the peninsula. The property includes a swimming pool, onsite eateries for breakfast, lunch, dinner, trendy beverages, and of course poolside cabanas! It also includes an indoor gym and exercise studio with daily classes, a recovery room full of spa therapies, private and shared workspaces, live music, and an active calendar of social events.
Please note: availability is not guaranteed without a confirmed reservation. The number of available day passes remains stringently first-come, first-serve. If you plan to appreciate The Wonderer anytime between April 15th - September 1st, we strongly suggest booking in advance to guarantee access.
Any group exceeding 8 or more guests must be approved separately by contacting the Wonderer directly. If using the Pool area, it is required that events of 8+ rent a Cabana.
The Club has a minimum age requirement of 25 years old (unless you're a member, a guest of a member, or receive a special exception from club management). Some special events may have varying age restrictions.
*Please also note that Bennett Holdings, LLC is not the same company as The Wonderer and offers this as an added perk. If access is not granted to the Wonderer during your stay due to availability, no inconvenience credits will be awarded, and any issues related to your visit at The Wonderer must be directed exclusively to The Wonderer staff.*

Tips and Tricks to get the best rental home experience:
How to get the best rental home value:
- June, July, and August are high season in the Charleston area area. To book the largest vacation home for your budget, we suggest booking in Fall or Spring. You'll enjoy lower rental rates, better selection, gorgeous weather and the absence of large crowds at your favorite Charleston area restaurants and activities. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to book an oceanfront vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the high season.
- Book your rental as early as possible. Rental schedules often open a year in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many groups book their Summer vacations during holiday get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.
- Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager whether your group qualifies for a discount.
- Booking websites typically offer renters an option to purchase vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which commonly will cost 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any days missed as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather, as well as evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel or extra fuel expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for additional information.
- Many property management companies and vacation rental houses supply Charleston area area travel guides which often include money-saving deals, either offered directly by local businesses, or by way of a relationship with the management company and the business itself. You can also find visitors guide and coupon books at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers.
Choosing the perfect rental home in the Charleston area area:
- First and foremost, have your group select vacation dates and a max budget.
- Note the number beds and the bed configuration you need. Royal House
- Precise descriptions of bedrooms and bed counts is often accessible online. If you don't see them listed, email the property management company before you reserve your rental. Remember that most properties list the maximum guest capacity, which oftentimes includes sofa beds. You'll need to work out what bed configuration is right for your family.
- Is your group looking for special amenities? Most rental websites include search filters with amenity lists.
- Suitable accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for persons with disabilities. .
- Some properties allow pets, but some don't. Acceptable types of dog or cat, size and breeds may be restricted, and additional costs may apply. Ask the property manager about allowable pet guidelines before booking.
Advice for your stay:
- We recommend storing the owner's contact information in your smartphone.
- Note any issues with the rental upon arrival, and immediately e-mail them to the property manager. We specifically recommend texts and e-mails, as they usually contain built-in time stamps that are valuable if a dispute is filed.
- Ask questions. You may want instructions for a hot tub, television set or thermostat. Contact your owner. They are there to help! A brief phone call prevents quite a few concerns.
- Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like troublesome vacationers disrupting your peace. Use the golden rule for common sense. If they like you, locals might even recommend great restaurants and places you would have never otherwise known!
- Don't forget to... Ask a local! Local residents can typically point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to enjoy a steak with a view, have a great night out, or the best spots for fine dining?
- Protect the owner (and your things!) by locking and securing the home when you are out, just like you would back home.
- Double-check the property to make sure that you've packed all personal items on check-out day. Remember to check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
- Record a video to document the condition of the property.
- Did your group have a wonderful vacation? Many rental management companies make it easy for clients to provide reviews. If your property and/or host was fantastic, they will likely appreciate your kind words. If anything was defective and they failed to correct it within reason, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make a note as part of your review.
