Getting the best Charleston area vacation property experience:

When to go & When to book:

  • To find the most suitable rental for your budget, we strongly suggest booking in Fall or Spring months. You'll benefit from lower rates, better selection, warm weather and the absence of large crowds at Charleston area restaurants, tours, and activities.
  • In the Charleston area area, The earlier your group can reserve a vacation home, the easier your search will be. The most desirable rental homes are reserved early. Reserving your rental home 6-12 months before your travel dates is recommended. Holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving are excellent times to plan and reserve your rental.
  • Some owners offer discounts for veterans. Ask your host or property manager if special offers are available for your group before you book.
  • Booking websites often offer renters an option to add vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which usually will cost you between 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed trip time as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a bank account-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your host for specifics.
  • Look for your local visitors guide upon arrival. If your rental home doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local grocery stores and visitor centers. In addition to great local information, visitors guide magazines contain deals for nearby tours and attractions.

Planning and choosing the perfect Charleston area rental:

  • Start by selecting the best vacation week and a maximum budget.
  • Oceanfront Penthouse has 1 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms.
  • Precise information about bedrooms and bed counts & types is often available online. If you don't see them listed, email or call the property management company before you book the vacation property. During your stay:

  • Get the host's phone number and entry/exit procedures for your rental. Put the manager's contact information in your smartphone and wallet.

  • Be respectful. Frequently, nearby homes are filled by permanent residents. Respecting quiet hours and parking rules can make a stay significantly more pleasurable.
