Located inside a modest, exclusive, gated neighborhood within the Wild Dunes Resort, this PET-FRIENDLY classic Lowcountry home sits just inside the gates of the resort on impressive Isle of Palms. Featuring classic, southern decor and rich hues, plus 4 BR/3 BA comfortably accommodating up to 10 guests, The Carolina House has room for the whole family to spread out. This roomy and comfortable home has the all the amenities for an Isle of Palms hideaway that everybody will appreciate. Appreciate striking sunsets every evening from the back deck of this extravagant home. At The Carolina House you'll find an broad chef's kitchen with center island that seats 4 guests, and gorgeous living area with dual-sided fireplace shared with the formal dining room where everybody you'll want to linger over meals around the table that seats 8. The main floor includes a guest room appointed with a KING bed and private ensuite bath.

Upstairs you'll find the primary suite, with KING bed and opulent spa bath that includes a soaking tub and separate shower. On this level you'll find 2 additional guest rooms, one with a QUEEN bed and the other with a KING bed, both with ensuite bathrooms. You'll savor the multiple porches to help you find a peaceful spot to escape and relax. Take a hot cup of coffee on to one of her many verandas and appreciate the sunrise before a enchanting day of calming by the community pool located just steps your front door, or taking in the salt and sand on the beach.

The Carolina House is a short walk to the Wild Dunes golf courses, tennis courts, eateries, spa and more, including the iconic oceanside Wild Dunes Links Golf Course. Plus, with its great location within the Wild Dunes Resort, you'll appreciate a location that means you're still within close proximity to everything a vacation to Isle of Palms has to offer, ideal for those that want some fun to go alongside ample rest and relaxation.

Isle of Palms features some of the most fashionable eateries and cafes east of the Cooper River, and the island offers a wide variety of delicious seafood and other local specialties, including Coda del Pesce, Coconut Joes Beach Grille, Acme Lowcountry Kitchen and the locally adored Sea Biscuit Cafe, that serves up only breakfast, but is well worth the wait. You'll find modren dining options dotted throughout the island, including Long Island Cafe which is located right beside Harris Teeter, The Boathouse, located on the water overlooking the Intracoastal Waterway and Islander 71. Located on the point where Morgan Creek meets the Intracoastal Waterway, Islander 71 overlooks the water and has spectacular vistas. Access
Your Concierge will meet you at the home upon your arrival to check you in. Should our schedules not line up, your Concierge will walk you through how to get into the property. If you have any questions about directions or access to the property, your concierge will be ready and waiting to assist you by phone. The villa is located inside Wild Dunes. Gate passes are required for every car to access Wild Dunes. This property accepts guests up to three (3) gate passes per reservation. Make sure to provide your Concierge with the first and last name(s) in which your gate passes should be under.

Interaction
Upon arrival, after the established 4PM check-in time, you may enter and exit the rental at your leisure. Your Concierge will meet you at the property upon check-in and provide valuable information about the home. Should an in-person meeting not work out, your Concierge will provide you with all the instructions you will need. We are here to make the check-in process a seamless one!

Our concierge team is committed to delivering exceptional service, impeccable cleanliness and all the amenities of your everyday home. With each stay you will enjoy high thread count linens, spa quality towels, hair dryer, ironing board, washer and dryer, standard coffee maker and Keurig, kitchen cookware and silverware, shower toiletries and soaps, additional linens and towels, air conditioning, cable, and wireless internet, and more. With our concierge services you can choose to have our team handle all the details of your trip. From stocking your refrigerator to reserving beach equipment, there isn't much our Concierge team can't help you with during your stay. And should you need any recommendations, it would be our enjoyment to provide suggestions for eateries, make reservations, organize activities, and answer any questions.

We offer the option to purchase trip insurance through Rental Guardian. We highly recommend adding trip insurance to your reservation, especially if you are traveling during hurricane season (June-November).

At the time of booking, we require a payment of 50% of your total rental amount. The remainder of your balance will be due 30 days prior to your check-in date and will be automatically charged to the card we have on file. If you are booking within 30 days of your expected arrival date, the full payment is due at the time of booking.

The City of Isle of Palms has a noise ordinance starting at 10PM that applies to private residences. Please be mindful of your neighbors. Noise complaints can result in fines and rental termination.

Minimum rental age is 25.

About the Area

Located in Isle of Palms, this vacation home is near the beach. Fort Sumter and USS Yorktown are notable landmarks, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Wild Dunes Resort Golf Course and Port of Charleston Cruise Terminal. Patriots Point and South Carolina Aquarium are not to be missed. With fishing and swimming nearby, you'll find plenty of adventures in the water.

Getting the most from your budget:

  • Book your vacation rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules usually become available 12 months in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many groups book their Summer vacation rentals during holiday gatherings. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • Reserve your rental property in Fall or Spring months to get the benefit of warm weather while saving money and avoiding crowded roads, restaurants, and activities. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to reserve an oceanfront vacation rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during June, July, and August.
  • Some property management companies offer discounts for veterans. Remember to ask your host or property manager if special discounts are available for your family.
  • Booking websites frequently offer guests an option to obtain vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which normally costs 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed trip time as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel or extra gasoline expenses. Trip insurance can be a a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for details.

  • Remember to include your furry companions! Many vacation homes allow animals, but guidelines and restrictions apply. Type of pet, size and breeds may be limited. Ask your property manager before booking, and study your rental agreement! Pet fees or might be applied to your invoice.
  • If there's a certain Charleston area destination you simply love, browse properties that are either close by, or those that cater to your requirements.
  • Proper accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for persons with a disability. Remember to confirm all necessary amenities are included before booking

Tips for a wonderful stay:

  • Put the host's contact information in your smartphone and wallet.
  • Ask questions. You may want instructions for a garage door opener, intercom or kitchen appliance. Contact your property manager. They are there to help! A brief telephone call prevents many difficulties.
  • Ensure you protect the owner (and your things!) by locking the property when you are away, just like you would back home.
  • During check-in, record any issues with the rental property and immediately alert the host. Record all correspondence in case a dispute arises.
  • Be a good neighbor. Often times, surrounding homes are filled by local residents. Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking regulations is the right thing to do.
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Locals can often help. Who better to ask where to take kids for a treat, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for fishing?
  • Re-check every room of the property to confirm that you've packed all of your belongings at departure. Check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden items. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Go through the rental a final time and look for any damage. We recommend inspecting the property with the host whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the property manager isn't available, ensure that you take photos of the property to record its condition at check-out.
  • Did you have a great time? Many rental management companies make it easy for customers to provide reviews. If your rental property and/or property manager was great, they always love to hear your praise. If anything was defective and they failed to address it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make a note as part of your comments.
