About

Founded in 1738, Drayton Hall is the nation’s earliest example of fully executed Palladian architecture and the oldest preserved plantation house in America still open to the public.This tour will interpret the cellar, the first floor and the second floor of Drayton Hall.

Please note the following important information prior to registering:

  • Admission tickets are good for the entire day and are all-inclusive. Guests can check in any time between 9:00am and 1:45pm.
  • Our all-inclusive audio house tour ticket can be utilized until 2:00 (last entry time into the house prior to the start of interpreter led tours).
  • Entrance gates close promptly at 3:30pm and our exit gates close at 5:00pm.
  • Tickets purchased are non-refundable and non-transferable.
  • The first floor and cellar of the main house are open for self-paced house tours using our podcast audio tour. The second floor is only available to view on our interpreter-led tour.

What to Bring

Upon arrival, you will be able to download the tour to your smartphone or tablet. We recommend that you bring your own headphones (headphones are also available for purchase onsite).
