Charleston’s inshore waters are home to a variety of game fish, including Redfish, Flounder, Speckled Trout, Sheepshead, Black Drum, Ladyfish, and Spotted Bass. With a little luck, you’ll hear that reel scream as one of these local favorites takes the bait! Depending on the season and conditions, you’ll target your catch using light tackle and other proven techniques tailored to this fishery.

Families are always welcome. Kids will have a blast on the water, and the captain can provide child-sized life vests upon request (bring your own if you prefer). Pack some snacks and drinks to keep everyone fueled during the trip.

You’ll be fishing from a 25’ Tidewater bay boat that comfortably accommodates up to 6 guests. Outfitted with modern electronics and all the essentials, it’s designed for a productive and comfortable day on the water. Rods, reels, and lures are included, and live bait is available (sometimes you’ll even catch it yourself as part of the adventure).

Fishing licenses for your entire group are covered, so you can focus on the fun. Some species may be seasonal or have size/slot limits, but Captain Frank will keep you informed and make sure everything stays within regulations.

Be sure to bring along water, sunglasses, sunscreen (non-spray preferred), and a hat. You’re welcome to bring your own drinks and snacks—beer is fine in moderation, just no glass bottles or hard liquor.
