Palm State Fishing is your ticket to the stunning waters of Edisto Beach.
Species like King Mackerel, Dolphin, Amberjack, Great Barracuda, Black Seabass, Wahoo, Hammerhead Shark, Blacktip Shark, and more can be found in these waters if you come at the right time of year. For these species, you’re likely to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle.
Families making a day of it will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! If you don’t have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there’s one on board.
You’ll be fishing aboard a 22’ Savannah center console with space for 3 passengers. It has everything you need for a productive day on the water. Rods, reels, and tackle are covered by the charter, along with lures. Live bait is on offer, but it’s good to ask about this so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself.
You might need to buy a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off-limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect. It’s always wise to bring sunglasses, bottled water, and sunblock (non-spray). Drinks are included, free of charge. Alcohol is not allowed. There will be some light snacks for you on board.
