description: You'll find us about 30 minutes south of Charleston, on the sleepy island of Wadmalaw. We offer some heavier pours and a one hour tasting time for our private tastings.

Our private tasting experiences are perfect for your group! Whether you're celebrating a birthday, in town for a bachelorette party, getting the gang back together, or would just rather enjoy your wine with a select few of your favorite people and not the masses.

We can accommodate up to 12 people total for a private wine tasting in our private barn space or a reserved area of our tasting room, for some weekday bookings
what_is_included: -Pricing includes our full tasting menu with six samples of our local and California varietals along with a few extras, as time allows. Guests will receive a set list of wines that include red, white, sweet, dry, a mixed representation of all our wines.

-All of your guests will get to take home our signature stemless wine glass as a souvenir at the end of the tasting.

-Also with your tasting, each guest will receive a wine slushy coupon to use at the bar. Your slushy can be enjoyed on the lawn or during a walk in the vineyard after your tasting.

-You'll receive one reusable wine bag, with our Deep Water Vineyard logo, as a gift for the guest of honor.

-The private wine tasting pricing includes everything listed above and a reserved indoor space, a one hour time frame for your tasting, and includes gratuity for your server.

-You can customize your experience with cheese/fruit/cracker trays or a bottle of our sparkling wine for an additional charge.
check_in_details: - Please arrive 15-20 minutes ahead of your tasting time in order to get checked in, check ID’s, and be able to start your tasting on time. Charleston traffic can be very unpredictable, so leave yourself extra time! We do book our private wine tastings back to back, with just enough time to reset and prepare for the next group. Arriving early ensures we can start your group on time and have a complete tasting in the hour time frame allotted.

• If you are looking to host a birthday, bachelorette or shower including gifts, food, etc. we ask that you participate in your hour long tasting and then head to the lawn to continue the party. We have plenty of tables, chairs, and outdoor seating in order to continue opening gifts, cutting cake, etc.

• Please plan accordingly for transportation before your arrival. If you are using an Uber or Lyft you’ll need to secure a return ride before being dropped off. Here are a few recommendations of local drivers:

  restrictions: Anyone purchasing a drinking ticket must be 21+ and provide a valid ID upon arrival.

You can purchase a non-drinking ticket, but you must be 18+ to enter the private tasting. No one under 18 is allowed in the private tasting room.
faqs: What should I do if the private tastings are full?
You can still come join us at the vineyard! Reservations are NOT required to come out to the vineyard. We offer public wine tastings, flights, glasses, etc. at our full bar if you're looking to join us the day-of.

Can my kids come into the private tasting room?
You must be 18+ to enter the private tasting room and to purchase a non-drinking ticket (no kids). However, kids are allowed in the public tasting room, you can sign up for a public tasting when you arrive!
