Welcome to Holy City Magic, an intimate magic theater and bar located in the heart of beautiful Charleston, SC. Holy City Magic is more than just a show venue, we provide a unique night out experience for our guests. Our beautiful theater and speakeasy style bar are situated in the heart of the upper King Street district at 49 1/2 John Street (corner of King/John). The theater is located in a historic 200-year-old building, and you can still see the darkened floors from a Civil War building fire. Upon entering, you will enjoy closeup magic at the bar situated in a magic themed lounge area. At showtime, you will take your seats in front of our stylish stage to enjoy a rotating schedule of shows featuring world-renowned magical and variety entertainment.

Our Theater

Our intimate 46-seat theater and speakeasy style bar is situated in the heart of the upper King Street district at 49 1/2 John Street (corner of King/John). The theater is located in a historic 200-year-old building, and you can still see the darkened floors from a post-Civil War building fire!

Accessibility

Holy City Magic is on the second floor of a 200-year-old building. Because of this, we are not able to modify the historical building to make it fully handicap accessible. If you need special assistance, email or call us and we will do what we can to assist.
