Onboard Flatsbroke Fishing Charters, departing out of Patriots Point, Captain Chappy Chappell will help you experience Low Country fishing your way!

Capt. Chappy is a local fisherman who has plenty of experience when it comes to exploring the coast of South Carolina. He’s passionate about these waters and loves nothing more than passing on his knowledge to other guests. His ultimate goal on each trip is to teach you the ways of these waters, and how to fish them – and to leave you with plenty to smile about!

You’ll be fishing from your captain’s 23’ Sea Pro bay boat. She’s the perfect vessel for cruising these shallow fishing grounds, with room for up to 5 guests onboard. Capt. Chappy loves welcoming children on his adventures, so feel free to turn this into an unforgettable family adventure. Just make sure that any little ones are ages 5 or above. Your captain will provide you with life vests, and the boat is decked out with top-notch safety and navigational gear, too.

When it comes to your trip, Capt. Chappy will happily tailor it to make sure it perfectly suits your needs. New to angling? He’ll teach you the tricks of the trade, let you in on some local secrets, and help you hook your very first fish. This could include Redfish, Spotted Seatrout, Flounder, and more. Being that charters are not always easy to come by in Edisto Beach per se, drive a quick 45 minutes north to Charleston.

If you’re more experienced, you can head out on sight fishing adventure to hook some Bull Reds. Keen fly fisherman? Capt. Chappy is happy to have you join him. Just make sure you bring your own rods and reels.

Conventional rods and reels will be provided for you, as well as bait, lures, tackle, and a fishing license.
