description: Wadboo Creek is a tributary of the Cooper River. Along this blackwater creek you will see freshwater marsh, limestone cliffs, and mature cypress swamp. This creek was once home to large plantations. The limestone bluffs that line the creek are said to have been used by the Revolutionary War hero Francis Marion for hiding as he escaped the British Soldiers. This tour is perfect for both the nature lover and history buff.

what_is_included: The Price includes a kayak, Life Jacket, and Paddle for all participants. There will be a trained guide with you on the tour for safety and to interpret the surrounding nature and history of the area.

what_is_not_included: We do not supply dry bags or phone bags for the trip, we do have some available for sale if needed. It is not guaranteed that we will have extra sunscreen, most of the time the guides will be willing to share theirs, but that is not always an option.
what_to_bring: You will need to wear clothes you do not mind getting wet and water shoes (preferably closed toed, but sandals and flip flops are acceptable). We also recommend a hat to keep the sun out of your face (we sell hats if you want a souvenir).

Bring a dry bag or phone bag for any gear you may not want to get wet. Sunscreen is a must have. In the summer it is always a good idea to carry Bug Repellant (you may need it at landing or meeting location, once on the water the bugs are not a problem).

If you or anyone in your party has an allergy to stinging insects or ants, please bring any medications along (i.e. epipen) and make the guide aware.
