About
Join us on a Private Daytime Sail on the Double Fun! The trip offers extraordinary views of the historic city of Charleston from the water and we often get up-close views of Atlantic Bottlenose dolphin and other marine wildlife while sailing by many of the incredible sites found in historic Charleston Harbor.
The Double Fun can hold up to 24 people, but is priced on a sliding scale. And as always, our trips are BYOB so feel free to bring a bottle of wine or whatever you would like to drink to enjoy during the sail.. Swimming allowed on charters 3 hours or more in length.

About Charleston Sailing Adventures
Charleston Sailing Adventures offers intimate public and private sailing experiences aboard their two sailing catamarans: Prevailing Winds and Double Fun. Our boats sail daily from the Charleston Maritime Center, located in historic downtown Charleston. Passengers often enjoy sightings of dolphin, sea birds, sea turtles, and more, all while gliding silently by under sail. All tours are professionally guided by USCG licensed Captains and can include narration on local marine wildlife, environmental ecology, and Charleston's amazing sights and history.

When to Meet
We recommend arriving 20 minutes prior to your trip's departure. Unfortunately, there is no public parking at the Charleston Maritime Center. We suggest parking at the Aquarium Garage (which is about a block away) or at a parking meter on Concord Street. Parking meters are free after 6:00pm and all day on Sundays.
Where to Meet
Look for the blue sandwich board sign that says "Charleston Sailing Adventures" near the North dock (farthest left when facing the water). The crew will meet you there about 15 minutes to departure and check you in.
The Bathroom Situation
We have a marine head aboard the boat, however, you have to climb down a ladder to reach it. There are public toilets upstairs at the Charleston Maritime Center, inside the Aquarium Parking Garage, and near the playground at Gadsdenboro Park if you need to use one before we board.
What to Bring
Charleston is known for being quite sunny most of the year. To avoid lobster syndrome, you may want to bring a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, towel, etc. to ward off the sun's powerful rays. Also, remember to wear appropriate shoes! We don't care about "boat shoes" but, please, NO HEELS! We want you to be able to keep your balance on the boat. Our trips are BYOB, so feel free to bring whatever you'd like to eat or drink along. And don't forget your water!
What NOT to Bring
Please don't bring plastic bags or styrofoam on the boat. It is too easy for these items to get blown overboard where they become hazards for our marine life. We do not allow fishing off the boat (we don't have the proper licensing for that). We do not allow firearms on the boat. All of our trips are NO SMOKING.
Minimums
Our public sails do need a minimum number of passengers to sign up in order to go depending on the trip. While it is uncommon, if that minimum number is not reached we may ask you to reschedule or have to cancel and refund you.
