Fin’s Guide Company - Inshore Fishing welcomes you to the stunning waters of Charleston. Having logged many hours on these tides, Captain Griffin is prepared to put you on fish.
Redfish, Spotted Seatrout, Black Seabass, Flounder, Sheepshead, Bonnethead Shark, Hammerhead Shark, Lemon Shark, Blacktip Shark, and more inhabit these waters, depending on when you go.
On these trips, it’s common to bottom fish using light or heavy tackle.
Families who love fishing together will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. Snacks are also a good idea so that nobody gets grumpy on an empty belly!
You’ll be dropping lines from a 22’ Bay boat with space for 6 passengers. It has and everything else you need for a productive day on the water.
You’ll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, along with lures. Live bait is included, but it’s good to ask about this so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself.
The charter boat covers your fishing license, so all you have to do is show up ready for a good time! Some fish have special regulations, including when you can keep them. Simply ask and your captain can tell you more.
Some essentials to bring are sunglasses, a hat, sunblock (non-spray), and bottled water. Drinks will be available for you. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
