description: Sol Surfers’ 5-day camp on Folly Beach gives young beginners focused, hands-on surf instruction in a supportive small-group setting. Each day introduces new concepts on beach and in-water sessions, covering technical skills, safety, etiquette, and how wind, weather, and water conditions affect surfing. Certified lifeguard instructors maintain a 5-to-1 student/instructor ratio to tailor coaching to each child’s ability and comfort. The program includes equipment and a camp T‑shirt, and shuttle service to and from Folly Beach is provided each day.
