Take advantage of a great location close to downtown Charleston, local beaches, and Park Circle at this beautiful marsh-front Hanahan home. The property hosts a variety of coastal wildlife including egrets, herons, hawks, fiddler crabs, and a resident modest green snake. Please do not disturb the wildlife - we want them to come back!

With coastal-modern decor and an open floor plan, you will appreciate the comfortable living area with a ceiling fan and sizable intelligent TV for gathering together and playing games or watching your favorite movie. The kitchen is entirely equipped with all stainless-steel appliances and is ideal for whipping up all your favorite meals and snacks. There is enough seating for everybody at the dining table and at the breakfast bar as well. Privacy is also available in the comfort of your bedroom for those moments when you want to read or relax with the convenience of TVs and ceiling fans in each room. At the end of a long day, sink into comfortable beds.

Outside, savor sitting on the patio with a drink in hand while you soak up some rays, watch an array of coastal birds, or stargaze. The huge yard gives ample space for games, and come evening time, spark up the firepit for some quality togetherness and s'mores. Watch the sun rise above the river and marsh while you prepare breakfast on the Blackstone grille and griddle.

Don't miss out on all the local stores, eateries, and attractions to complete your trip.

Booking the best Charleston area vacation rental experience:

How to get the best rental home value:

  • The earlier you can book a vacation rental, the better your selection will be. The most desirable vacation rentals are booked early. Booking your vacation property six to twelve months before your vacation is recommended. Holiday gatherings are excellent times to plan and reserve your vacation rental.
  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months in coastal SC. Reserve your rental property in Fall or Spring to enjoy warm weather while saving money and avoiding crowds. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Charleston area vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday on the coast? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with loved ones at the beach.
  • Some hosts offer rate reductions for veterans and active duty military. Make sure to check with your property manager to see if special offers are available for your group.
  • Property management companies frequently offer customers an option to obtain vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally will cost you anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any days missed as a result of medical-related issues or weather, as well as hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel or additional gasoline expenses. Trip insurance can be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your host for program terms and fees.
  • Many rental management companies and vacation rental houses supply Charleston area area travel guide magazines which often include coupons, either offered independently by local businesses, or through a relationship with the property management company and the business itself. You can also find Charleston area visitors guide magazine and coupon books at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers.

Use filters to narrow your search:

  • Choose your vacation week and max budget.
  • Determine how many beds and the bed configuration your group needs. River-view home close to attractions with firepit, washer/dryer, grill, & AC has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
  • Precise information regarding bedrooms and bed counts is almost always accessible on booking websites. If you don't see them listed, reach out to the host before you book the property. Remember that most listings specify the max. guest capacity, which often includes sofa beds and bunks. You will need to work out which bed configuration is optimal for your vacation.
  • Some properties allow pets, but some do not. Allowable types of family pet, weight and breeds may be restricted, and added fees may apply. Ask the host about allowable breeds and types before booking.
  • If there's an individual Charleston area destination you are crazy about, look for homes that are either near by, or those that cater to your desires.
  • Appropriate accessibility can make or break a vacation for guests that require the use of a wheelchair. Confirm all required amenities are included before reserving a rental.

Advice for a smooth stay:

  • Be sure you get the host's contact number and check in/check out procedures for your rental.
  • Ask questions. You may want instructions for a garage door opener, elevator or kitchen appliance. Contact your host. They are there to help! A brief telephone call can prevent quite a few problems.
  • Lock your vacation home while you are out. Keep your property safe!
  • To ensure that damages are not attributed to your visit, inspect for any problem areas upon your arrival. E-mail the property manager immediately to document your findings. If there is a dispute about who is responsible, having a record of issues and contact attempts will be useful.
  • Respecting quiet hours and parking regulations can make a stay more pleasurable. Be a good neighbor. You'll enhance your chance to make some new local friends, and resident neighbors are usually a great resource to find the best local scenic spots.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Local residents can typically point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to order the best nachos, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for crabbing?
  • Double-check every room of the rental property to confirm that you've packed all personal items at check-out. Check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
  • Did your family have a great vacation? Many rental managers make it easy for vacationers to provide comments. If your property and/or host was wonderful, they will likely appreciate your kind words. If anything was inoperable and they failed to correct it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make a note as part of your feedback.
