This booking is for a true bareboat (boat-only) rental. When you reserve this experience, you are renting the vessel only. A captain or crew is not included and cannot be bundled with this booking.
Under U.S. Coast Guard regulations, a bareboat charter transfers possession and control of the vessel to the charterer for the duration of the rental.

Captain Requirements:
• Charterers with a valid U.S. Coast Guard Master Captain’s License may operate the vessel themselves
• Charterers without a Master Captain’s License must independently hire a licensed captain
• Any captain hired must be selected and paid directly by the charterer
• Holy City Boat Tours does not provide, require, or pay a captain
• A list of independent licensed captains may be provided upon request only
Charterer Responsibilities:
• Fuel costs
• Captain selection and payment (if applicable)
• Responsibility for the vessel during the rental period

Cancellations must be made at least 15 days before the departure time of your boat tour for refund.

The weather in Charleston changes all the time. Of course, we hope it’s going to be the best experience for you and your group on the boat. We keep a close eye on the weather forecast every day. If it looks to not be safe for us to be out on the boat or a complete rain out day of reservation and you are unable to reschedule you will get a refund since we are not able to control the weather.
