description: At the initial appointment we will have a chance to get acquainted, acquire the necessary diagnostic information, and will determine the appropriate retainer for you. Many of your questions can be answered at this appointment, and we encourage you to ask about any of your concerns. If you would like to straighten some teeth as well, we can discuss aligner treatment at this time.

To make your new retainers, we will do a 3D scan of your teeth (takes about 15 mins), 3D print out the models of your teeth, then fabricate the retainers using that model and thermoplastic essix material. This process typically takes under 1 week.

We will send another email with instructions to setup your patient portal account. If you cannot locate this email, please call us at (843) 800-2505 or reply to this email so we can resend the invite.

Once you have setup your patient portal account, please fill out the new patient questionnaire that includes your health history. You will also be able to use this account to see your appointments and financial ledger.
