Set against the stunning backdrop of the USS Yorktown Aircraft Carrier and the Ravenel Bridge, the Patriots Point fireworks display is one of the most impressive in the Lowcountry — and you'll have a front-row seat aboard the Palmetto Breeze.

itinerary: We will depart from Shem Creek at 7:00 PM, sailing toward Charleston Harbor. Along the way, you'll enjoy beautiful views of:

  • The USS Yorktown Aircraft Carrier

Once in the harbor, we'll anchor at a prime location to watch the fireworks display, typically run from around 9:00 PM – 9:30 PM.

check_in_details: We recommend arriving 45 minutes early. Parking will be limited on the 4th of July.

We are located on the Charleston side of Shem Creek. You can enter the boardwalk between Mt Pleasant Seafood and Water's Edge Restaurant. Straight ahead you'll see our gate, lower dock, and catamaran.

Please have every person in your party complete the waiver found in your confirmation email.

You may download your ticket to an e-wallet, or check in with the name used to make the reservation.

special_requirements: To help ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone onboard, each guest will be required to sign a Passenger Waiver prior to boarding. This waiver outlines key safety policies, participation guidelines, and general expectations while on the vessel.

  • Agreement to follow basic safety guidelines and crew instructions
  • Acknowledgment of our bar service policies (no hard liquor or outside beverages)
  • Acknowledgement of our cancellation policy
  • Understanding of guest behavior expectations and responsibility for any unusual damage or cleanup

We’ll provide the waiver within your confirmation email. We kindly ask that all forms be completed and submitted no later than 12 hours before your charter.
restrictions: To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all guests, please note the following guidelines for private charters:

  • Maximum capacity is 100 passengers — this includes all adults, children, and infants
  • Passengers must be a minimum of 13 to attend our 4th of July Harbor Fireworks Sail
  • Hard liquor is not permitted onboard
  • Smoking and vaping are not allowed anywhere on the vessel
  • Please do not bring on anything breakable, with a flame, fireworks, or explosives.
  • The captain reserves the right to adjust the route or end the charter early in the event of unsafe weather, equipment concerns, or disruptive behavior that may affect the safety or comfort of guests and crew

These policies are in place to help protect both your group and our crew — and to keep the experience smooth and enjoyable for everyone onboard.
Please do not bring on anything breakable, with a flame, fireworks, explosives, or that can be smoked.
Please no coolers or large bags that cannot fit in your lap.

faqs: Is there an age limit?
Yes, the minimum age for this sail is 13 years old.


Can we bring food or drinks onboard?
Outside beverages are not permitted onboard. However, you may bring small snacks if they can easily fit in a purse or your lap.


Can we bring coolers, large bags, or strollers?
Due to space limitations on the catamaran, coolers, large bags, and strollers are not allowed onboard. Please plan accordingly.


Can we bring a pet?
Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate pets of any kind on this sail.


Is the catamaran accessible for guests with mobility limitations?
Due to the dock setup, boarding process, and vessel layout, this sail is not handicap accessible. Boarding requires guests to:
- Walk down a steep ramp
- Step up three large marine steps onto the catamaran

  • Please remember to complete your waivers before arrival. You can find the waiver link in your confirmation email. You may share the link with others in your party.
  • Ticketed bookings can find electronic tickets in your confirmation email—no need to print.
  • Please arrive 30-40 minutes early, as parking in the area can be busy. Boarding begins 15-20 minutes before your scheduled sail, and Palmetto Breeze departs promptly at the scheduled time.
  • Free parking is limited. Park in a Water's Edge Lot, pay using the QR code, and if you dine at Water's Edge, your parking fee will be refunded!

Take I-26 East to Hwy. 17 North. Cross the Ravenel Bridge and get into the far-right lane for Hwy. 703/Coleman Blvd. Turn right at the 4th stoplight onto Shrimp Boat Lane.

Sun Protection We highly recommend bringing sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat to protect yourself from the sun during your sail. Enjoy the views without the burn!
Footwear For your safety and comfort, please wear flat, non-slip footwear while onboard. This will help prevent any slips or falls on the deck.
Mobility Concerns If you have any mobility issues, please let us know in advance so we can discuss how best to accommodate you. Please note, boarding does require climbing 4 steps, and we may not be able to accommodate walkers or wheelchairs due to the boat's structure. We're happy to answer any questions or provide further details.
Alcohol Consumption We want everyone to have a great time! Please drink responsibly and be aware that you are responsible for your own alcohol consumption. Our crew may refuse service if necessary to ensure safety.
