BlackJack Fishing Charters has a trip with your name on it along the stunning waters of Charleston. Your guide for the day is Captain Alex, so you'll benefit from his local experience.

You're likely to fish for Redfish, Spotted Seatrout, Black Seabass, Gray Triggerfish, Gag Grouper, Scamp Grouper, Red Snapper, Vermilion Snapper, Blackfin Tuna, Mahi Mahi, Wahoo, and more with any luck. Depending on the species you’re after, you may find yourself spinning, popping, trolling, drifting, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.

Capt. Alex welcomes children aboard, so the whole family can come and unplug for the day! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. Snacks are permitted onboard — bring your favorites to maintain your energy throughout the trip!

Your excursion begins aboard a 28' Scout Express with capacity for 6 passengers. It comes with outriggers, and everything you need for a productive day on the water. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. Rods, reels, and tackle are ready for you, along with lures. Live bait is available, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.

A First Mate will be there to make sure everything is running smoothly. A 10–20% tip is customary to show your appreciation for their hard work.

The charter boat covers your fishing license, just show up ready for some fishing! Keep in mind that you may release some fish due to regulations. Simply ask and your captain can tell you more.

It's always wise to bring sunscreen (non-spray), bottled water, and sunglasses. If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
