With Captain Austin at the helm, you’ll benefit from years of knowledge and experience. Around here, it’s common to catch Redfish, Sheepshead, Black Drum, Flounder, and more, depending on the season.

You’ll be sight fishing during the 4-5 hour trips, so get ready for a hands-on fishing experience! Expect to begin the day early by meeting at a local dock near the fishing spots. Before you hop on board, the captain will review safety measures and the plan for the day. On the way to the first spot, you might catch live bait and decide what kind of tackle and bait you want to use.

Any fish caught on these trips will be released back into the water. Rods, reels, and tackle are ready for you, along with lures. Fly fishing equipment is available, so let the captain know if you need it. The charter boat covers your fishing license for the day, so all you have to do is show up ready for a good time.

Remember to pack some snacks and drinks to have during the journey. It’s always wise to bring sunscreen (non-spray) and sunglasses, and there will be complimentary bottled water for you. Ace Outdoors Charleston is a child-friendly charter service, so take your kid to live this experience together!
