About:
As you enter through the grand oak allée to the home and gardens of a brick making plantation, learn how it built most of the city of Charleston! As we trace the history of Boonehall Plantation's ownership on one the few working plantations still in existence today, we will unravel the experience of the enslaved. Travel back in time as they unfold their stories in original slave cabins which they built on site, ending in a live Gullah theatre.
