About
This course can truly signify you as an Advanced Diver. This program includes completion of 4 specialties (most people choose Computer Nitrox, Deep, Navigation and Night; but this is not the only route you can go). You must also complete 25 total dives to earn the Advanced Diver certification. Each of the specialties are typically 2 dives.
There is another more basic option to certify you to dive to 100 ft. It is the SDI Advanced Adventure Diver or PADI Advanced Open Water diver certification. That course is broken into 5 adventure dives. There are two required dives (Underwater Navigation and Deep), then you can choose dives that appeal to you for the other 3 adventure dives. The options available to you that we can teach are:
- SDI:
Advanced Buoyancy, Boat, Diver Propulsion Vehicle (DPV), Drift, Computer Nitrox, Full Face Mask, Night, Search and Recovery, Solo, Wreck
- PADI:
Boat, Dive Against Debris, Diver Propulsion Vehicle (DPV), Drift, Enriched Air, Fish Identification, Full Face Mask, Night, Peak Performance Buoyancy, Search and Recovery, Self-Reliant, Wreck.
