Your visit starts with a brief orientation film, then you’ll begin the audio tour of the cellar and main floor of Drayton Hall. The audio tour leads you from room-to-room and lasts approximately 45 minutes. It can be streamed from or downloaded directly to your smartphone. We recommend that you bring earphones or earbuds. Knowledgeable staff members inside the building can answer your questions as you follow the audio tour.

After the audio tour, you are encouraged to explore the grounds, the Charles H. Drayton III Orientation Hall, the Caretaker's House Exhibit in the Richard and Jill Almeida Gallery, the Stephen F. and Laura D. Gates Gallery, the Lenhardt Garden, and the African American Cemetery at your own pace.

Please note the following important information prior to registering:

• Admission tickets are good for the entire day and are all-inclusive. Guests can check in any time between 9:00am and 1:45pm.
• Our all-inclusive audio house tour ticket can be utilized until 2:00 (last entry time into the house prior to the start of interpreter led tours).
• Entrance gates close promptly at 3:30pm and our exit gates close at 5:00pm.
• Tickets purchased are non-refundable and non-transferable.
• The first floor and cellar of the main house are open for self-paced house tours using our podcast audio tour. The second floor is only
  available to view on our interpreter-led tour.

What to Bring

Upon arrival, you will be able to download the tour to your smartphone or tablet. We recommend that you bring your own headphones (headphones are also available for purchase onsite).
