Make a List of "Wants" and "Necessities"

What amenities is the group searching for? Is a screened-in deck a necessity? Do you wish to be away from it all, or near civilization? Are extras like beach chairs, barbecue grills, beach umbrellas, carts or coolers available and included with your rental rate? Gather a list of "necessities and preferences" from your group to help filter your search to the most suitable rental.

If the property owner is not available, make sure to take photos of the property to record its condition.
  • Did you love your vacation rental? Most rental home management companies and rental home sites make it easy for travellers to provide reviews.
