Just a brief walk to the iconic King Street, you are really in the heart of Downtown. Explore the impressive streets, shop and dine to your heart’s content, and relax in the evenings on the sprawling Charleston porches.

The Space:
The Penthouse Suite is the entire upstairs of this Victorian dream. Complete with two king bedrooms, two bathrooms, and two twin bunk beds in the living area, this space sleeps up to 8 people.

The kitchen is completely outfitted and equipped. Savor the extraordinary Charleston style porch as well. Off-street parking supplied (a rarity downtown!). We offer high-speed WiFi and Intelligent TVs throughout.

Guest Access:
You'll have access to the entire upstairs of the home (with a private entrance) and the wrap-around porch. You will not have to share any common areas with the downstairs guests. Parking supplied as well!

The Elliotborough/Cannonborough district of downtown Charleston. With its friendly neighbors, comfortable eateries, and tree lined streets, our neighborhood will immerse you in Charleston’s classic appeal. This home is ideal for a family or group seeking a fun, culinary and cultural vacation. Popular dining spots in the neighborhood include Xiao Bao Biscuit, Fuel, Porchetta Shop, Southbound, R Kitchen, Chubby Fish and many more! Our guests and neighbors also rave about Welton's Tiny Bakeshop and Kudu Coffee. We recommend going to either for a cup of locally-roasted coffee or their delicious cookies and cakes. The home is only a short walk from the very trendy King Street where you will find a multitude of great stores – including antique stores, book stores and fashion stores – as well as countless buzzing eateries and bars.

Getting Around:
You can walk nearly everywhere - but should you want to rest your feet, there are many other options for getting around: Uber, Lyft, Charleston Bicycle Taxi, Charleston Rickshaw, Green Taxi or Yellow Cab.

When to visit & When to reserve a Charleston rental home:

  • Booking a rental in Fall or Spring months is one of our best tips for saving money on your vacation. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a larger selection of acceptable homes. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to book a beach front vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the Summer.
  • Book your rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules generally open a year in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many groups book their Summer vacations during Winter holiday get-togethers. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • Property managers sometimes offer discounts for veterans. Ask your property manager if special offers are available for your family before you book.
  • Property management companies often offer their guests an option to add trip insurance. Trip insurance, which costs 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed vacation time as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance can be a a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask the property owner for details.

  • Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
