This home comes with ONE off-street parking space. Appreciate some of Charleston's best local dining all within one block of this home! Come experience Charleston's southern hospitality while staying in a traditional Charleston home.

Please note this unit is handicap inaccessible.

The Space:
This is a three story well appointed home. Being off the street makes this a peaceful place to stay, but a stone's throw from the lively King Street when you don't feel like being peaceful. Guests enter from the piazza on the second floor. This home is ideal for the foodie with a sizable entirely equipped kitchen, dining area for 6, and cavernous living area. The kitchen includes a full size refrigerator, microwave, toaster oven, stovetop, oven, dishwasher, dinnerware, pots & pans, and cooking tools. There is a washer dryer on the first floor for those who stay longer and wish to do laundry.

AirBNB is a re-seller, not our website. We list openings not already booked on our site here and on other booking portals that re-sell available nights at a higher rate to cover their surcharges & booking costs. What you get for this premium: You get an simple to use mobile platform and a quality assurance guarantee from AirBNB that we as a management company will deliver the property as advertised.

Personally, we use AirBNB when traveling to remote areas that do not have strong locally based property management companies and have had good luck with it. We are happy to have our homes available on this site.

Guest Access:
This is a private home, guests will have access to the entire home.

The Neighborhood:
The property is located in the Cannonborough Elliotborough neighborhood of Downtown Charleston, which is considered the most upcoming area on the peninsula. The neighborhood is ideal for a couple or a group who is looking to completely embrace Charleston's unique appeal. Step right outside your door and find a wonderfully curated mix of stores, bars, bakeries, and dining. We recommend grabbing a coffee at Island Provisions before exploring King Street, Charleston's ultimate epicenter of stores and eateries, which is just one short block from the property. Our guests have a wide selection of walkable dinner options, some of our favorites include Chez Nous, Chubby Fish, Bistronomy by Nico, and Vern's. Come experience all that our elegant city has to offer!

Getting Around:
Most everything is within walking distance. If guests do have a car, we provide ONE off-street parking space. We suggest to bring an economy size car to help with getting around Charleston's narrow downtown streets; although the more adventurous do bring bigger cars.
Uber and Lyft are always available downtown; so, if you wander far, it's painless to catch a ride back. Charleston also has a complimentary downtown shuttle that has a circuit around the downtown area.

Other Things to Note:
• 2 nighttime minimum stay
• Please note our strict cancellation policy
• Stairs are required for access
• City of Charleston Operational Permit OP2023-03589

Interaction with Guests:
We are available to assist our guests with any issues that may arise.

How to find the best vacation rental experience:

Cost saving strategies:

  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months in Charleston. Reserve your vacation in the Fall or Spring to get the benefit of warm weather while saving money and avoiding crowded roads, restaurants, and activities. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to book an oceanfront rental that would otherwise be unavailable during the high season. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Charleston area vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday on the coast? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with friends and family at your favorite beach.
  • Reserve your vacation rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules usually open a year in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many groups reserve their Summer rental homes during holiday gatherings. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • Some hosts offer discounts or promotional rates for veterans and active duty military. Ask your host or property manager if special offers are available for your family.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners often offer guests an option to purchase vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which costs 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed time as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or extra gasoline expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a life-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your host for details.
  • Many management companies supply Charleston area area visitors guide magazines which often include coupons, either offered independently by local businesses, or through a relationship between the management company and the business itself. You can also find Charleston area visitors guide and coupon books at local gas stations and shopping centers.

Choosing and booking your Charleston area rental:

  • Start by having your group agree to the best dates and a spending budget.
  • Note the number bedrooms and the bed configuration you need. The Most Charming Old Brick Alley, Charleston has 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.
  • Specific details about bedrooms and bed counts & types is regularly accessible online. If you don't see them listed, reach out to the property manager before you book the rental. Remember that most listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which usually includes pull-out couches.
  • Does your group require particular amenities? Most rental search websites include search filters with amenity lists.
  • Appropriate accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for guests that require the use of a wheelchair. Make certain to ask about specialized equipment and wheel chair accessibility.
  • Are you bringing the family pet? Although a number of vacation homes allow pets or animals, guidelines and costs vary per property. Type of pet, size and breeds may be limited. Remember to ask your host before booking, and study your rental agreement! Pet fees or costs could be applied to your invoice.

Know before you go:

  • Get the property manager's phone number and entry/exit procedures for your rental.
  • Upon check-in, document any issues with the property and immediately alert the property manager. Keep records of all correspondence just in case a dispute arises.
  • Ask questions. You may want instructions for a fireplace, A/V setup or thermostat. Contact your host. They are there to help! A brief text message prevents quite a few difficulties.
  • Don't forget to respect your neighbors. Often, surrounding homes are filled by local residents. Respecting noise limits and parking policies is the right thing to do.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Residents can frequently point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to spend a rainy day, have a great night out, or the best spots for shopping?
  • Ensure you protect the rental owner (and your things!) by locking the rental while you are gone, just like you would at home.
  • Don't leave anything behind! Just before you drive away, walk through the property to confirm you've collected all of your things. Make sure to check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
  • Did your family have a fantastic stay? Most rental home management companies make it easy for clients to provide feedback. If your rental property and/or host was wonderful, they would love to hear about it. If anything was inoperable and they failed to correct it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make a note as part of your comments.
