Make memories that will last a lifetime in this three-bedroom, three-bath condo with pretty marsh vistas. This home is conveniently located just a short walk across the river from downtown Folly Beach, where you'll find delicious local eateries and access to the gorgeous Atlantic Ocean. The beach is a little farther down Center Street, about a 15-min. walk from the condo.

The master has a king bed and its own bathroom with a hottub tub and shower. The second bedroom has its own bathroom with a shower/tub and a new king bed. The third bedroom has two twin beds and direct access to the third full bathroom that can also be accessed from the hallway. Finally, we have a queen-sized pull-out couch in the living room. No need to worry about the stairs, we have an elevator! We also provide a cart and four beach chairs in a storage closet on the ground level.

While visiting the “Edge of America”, take a day trip to Historic Charleston, just a short 10-min. drive, where you can savor pretty southern style homes and a wide array of dining, shopping, and entertainment options. Or stay home and watch the sunrise while drinking your morning coffee, take a swim in the community pool, and catch the sun again as it sets with an evening beverage, all from the private screened-in patio. There's a community park with a fishing/crabbing pier just across the river. There is a public boat ramp on the other side of the bridge but you'll have to coordinate parking the boat/trailer offsite. If you want to bring a boat please check with us first.

Other “must do’s” include paddle boarding, dolphin tours, visiting any of the many plantations, Fort Sumter, and the Angel Oak.

We have two parking passes for the condo. If you plan on bringing a third car you might have to park it on a side street across the bridge.

Tips and Tricks for getting the best Charleston vacation rental experience:

Getting the best rental home value:

  • The sooner your group can reserve a vacation home, the better your selection will be. The best vacation homes are reserved very early. Reserving your vacation home six - twelve months before your travel dates is recommended. Holiday gatherings are excellent times to search for and reserve your vacation rental.
  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months in Charleston. Reserve your rental home in the Fall or Spring to enjoy gorgeous weather while saving money and avoiding crowded roads, restaurants, and activities. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to book an oceanfront rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during the Summer months. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Charleston area vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation on the coast? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with friends and family at your favorite beach.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager or host if your vacationing group qualifies for a reduced rate.
  • Property management companies usually offer their guests an option to add trip insurance. Trip insurance, which commonly will cost you anywhere between 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed days as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or additional gasoline expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your host for program terms and fees.
  • Often, property management companies supply Charleston area area visitors guide magazines that include money-saving deals, either offered independently by local companies, or through a partnership between the management company and the business itself. You can also find Charleston area area magazine and coupon books at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers.

Make a plan and pick your Charleston area rental:

  • Choose vacation week and spending budget.
  • Determine how many bedrooms and the configuration your group requires. Beautiful views! W\/pool. Pet friendly, short walk to Center St.\/beach, WiFi has 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our Charleston area rentals search.
  • Precise information regarding bedrooms and bed types is often accessible on booking websites. If they are not listed, reach out to the host before reserving the rental. Note that most listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which often includes pull-out couches and bunk beds. You'll need to determine which bed configuration is optimal for your vacation family.
  • Do your family pets travel with you? Although a number of vacation homes allow pets or animals, guidelines and costs vary per property. Allowable pet type, breed, and size are often limited. Remember to ask the property manager before booking, and study your agreement! Pet fees or charges could be applied to your agreement.
  • Are you visiting for a specific event? Try a map search to find nearby properties.
  • Proper accessibility can make or break a vacation for persons with disabilities. Confirm all required amenities are included before booking.

Advice for your stay:

  • Review arrival and departure procedures before leaving home. Add a note with the directions to your phone, and take a printed copy.
  • Ask questions. You may need instructions for a fireplace, elevator or WIFI setup. Contact your host. They are there to help! A brief call can prevent many issues.
  • Ensure you protect the property owner (and your stuff!) by locking and securing the home while you are away, just like you would back home.
  • Note any damages to the rental at check in, and immediately send them to the host. We specifically recommend texts and e-mails, as they usually contain built-in time stamps that are helpful if damages are assessed.
  • Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking rules can make a stay more pleasurable. You'll magnify your chance to make some new local friends, and resident neighbors are often a terrific resource to find the best local restaurants, beaches, and hangouts.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Local residents can typically help. Who better to ask where to find the best seashells, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for fishing?
  • Just before checking out, complete a final walk-through to make sure you have not forget anything. Make sure to check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden items. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Record a video to document the condition of the property.
  • After your trip, leave a review! Property managers rely on great ratings to drive new bookings. They'll be thankful for your feedback. Alternatively, if something went wrong, other families will appreciate that you share your review find their best rental home. Be fair with your review. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the owner could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded reasonably to solve it.
