Pre-check in: We welcome visitors arriving prior to the 4pm check-in time. Anytime after Noon, visitors may complete pre-check in paperwork, unload bags, and have their car parked by the valet service. When the room is ready, the resort will call the guest’s cell phone. Pre-check in helps avoid the long waits for check in and valet service typical at 4pm.

Parking: Off-site valet parking $27/day. One car per reservation. No trailers, RVs, motorbikes or upsized cars allowed. Owners and visitors may park in the Public Parking garage for a flat rate of $16/nighttime, however if the car is moved, an hourly rate will apply. The $16/nighttime rate at the parking garage is only if the car is not moved during the 12 hour period.
Deposit mandatory: Upon check-in, each reservation requires a major credit card for a $100 Pre-Authorization. Beginning July 1, 2015 every Bonus Time reservation will be charged a $5 daily Transportation Fee.
Other notes: Two-story (loft) units typically have spiral staircases.
We cannot guarantee unit placement. Due to the historic nature of the buildings, floor plans and exact sizes will vary among rooms and suites. While The Lodge Alley Inn does not offer daily maid service, complimentary towel exchange is available for visitors staying less than 7 days. For visitors staying 7 days or more, a complimentary mid-week cleaning service is supplied. The Lodge Alley Inn is located in the heart of Downtown Charleston. Due to the urban location of the resort, visitors may expect to hear city or street noise from guest rooms. The resort has white noise machines, ear plugs, and box fans available on request to help ease city, street and traffic noise.
Current construction: One Bedroom units in the Griffith building do not currently have functioning fireplaces.
