This bungalow is superbly located for families and couples who want to come and go from the beach and downtown without driving, parking or walking very far. The beach access, directly across the street, is just 40 feet from the front steps. Eateries and shopping area are just 3 blocks away. We are located at the corner of West Ashley Ave. and 4th Ave. - you can't miss our radiant yellow bungalow. 324 W. Ashley Ave., Folly Beach, SC

One of Folly's original cottages, the Adore Shack has its original heartpine floors, board and batten walls and furnishings of its era. You can see the sea from nearly every room in the home - or listen to the sea and feel the winds on the front screened porch and enormous outdoor space. There's even a roof top outdoor space over the porch if you want a expansive view of the island.

This rental offers visitors a combination of happiness and nostalgia that's getting harder to come by...we have aimed to preserve the same flavor we delighted as youngsters coming to the beach, before the era of condos and 'McMansions.' This unit has 2 bedrooms and a generous living area, both areas supplied with 42' flat screen TVs. Our bungalow has roughly 650 square feet.

The living area and kitchen are open, divided by a bar/table/counter which is an old hatch door from a WWII Liberty Ship - refinished of course.

Folly Beach is a six mile long barrier island, and the closest beach to historic Charleston, South Carolina, 15 mins. on the Connector.

We welcome children of all ages and dogs. Our unit is located on a corner lot. The backyard has a canopy of live oaks and is thoroughly fenced. This home is not nearly as elevated as the newer ones; so there's only 10 steps from the back door to the yard. All these includes make pet care and kid care a lot easier. And don't worry about parking - we have 4 off street spaces at the back of the lot; and another in the front.
