The Space:
Our apartment has been freshly modernized and has a mid-century modern style interior while maintaining the historic downtown Charleston appeal. Throughout the apartment, you’ll find chic, fresh furnishings atop wood floors, chic light fixtures, vaulted ceilings, exposed brick & more. The property features:

An outdoor patio area. Whether it’s sitting by the fireplace on a cool nighttime or having drinks and horderves at the outdoor dining table, guests can savor the privacy and comfort of our fenced-in outdoor patio area which is located in the back of the home by the entrance to the apartment.

A dining area. After walking up the 6 stairs onto the porch or using wheelchair access, guests walk through the main entrance to the apartment and into the dining room area. This room features a dining table with four chairs, ideal for home-cooked meals or board/card games on a rainy day.

TWO bedrooms. The first bedroom, located on the 1st floor, includes a queen-sized bed, 2 bedside tables, a flat-screen TV, a ceiling fan, and a sizable dresser. Walk up one flight of stairs to the second floor to find the 2nd bedroom. This bedroom includes a king-sized bed, two bedside tables, a flat-screen TV, a full-length mirror, a flat-screen TV, a ceiling fan, and a huge walk-in closet.
One full bathroom. Located on the first floor, the bathroom has new tile floors, granite countertops, and a full bathtub/shower.

A comfortable living room with a bright, modern interior and an HD flatscreen TV mounted on the wall. Exposed brick is centerpieced on the wall behind the loveseat couch. Stylish accent chairs frame the living room making it the ultimate space to converse and relax.

A entirely-equipped kitchen. Our kitchen comes completely equipped with an oven, stovetop, standard size refrigerator/freezer, microwave, dishwasher, and all of your other kitchen needs. You will feel right at home cooking with our vintage-style appliances and reminiscing about the good ole days.

With 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, a roomy living room, fully-equipped kitchen/dining area- as well as being wheelchair accessible/ADA compliant, you can check off all of the items on your ‘Explore Historic Charleston’ Bucket List, while appreciating your own private space to come home to.

Guest Access:
Guests will have exclusive access to the back of the building. Easily accessible and well lit for your safety.

You can pull your car to unload in the front, which makes packing and unpacking a breeze. The parking is located off-site and costs $18 dollars a day. It is located at 558 King st just a half-mile away from the rental.

The home is located in the heart of the striking and trendy Cannonborough/Elliotborough district of downtown Charleston. With its friendly neighbors, cozy eateries, and tree-lined streets, our neighborhood will immerse you in Charleston’s classic charm. This home is ideal for a family or group seeking a fun, culinary, and cultural vacation. Popular dining spots in the neighborhood include The Tippling House Wine Bar,The Ordinary, Xiao Bao Biscuit, Fuel, Bistronomy, Barsa, R Kitchen, Chubby Fish, Pink Cactus, Chasing Sage, Elliotborough Minibar and the Warehouse for drinks. Our guests and neighbors also rave about Brown's Court Bakery and Sugar Bakery located close by. We recommend going to Babas for a cup of locally-roasted coffee and their delicious cookies and cakes. The home is only a short walk from the very fashionable King Street where you will find a multitude of great stores – including antique stores and fashion stores – as well as an countless list of buzzing eateries. Publix is conveniently located close by on Lockwood Drive as well.

The neighborhood is also within walking distance to CofC, MUSC, Roper, and the Citadel

If a Mandatory Evacuation Order for Charleston County is given during the dates of your stay, The Owner/Host or the Property Management Company shall refund 100% of all deposits, payments and / or monies paid by the traveler within 72 hours. Owner/Host or Property Management Company shall have no further liability with respect to the Reservation. Please note that if there is inclement weather in the other 49 states, prohibiting the traveler (or guests in traveler’s group) from getting to Charleston, a refund will not be issued and, Owner/Host or Property Management Company shall have no liability with respect to the Reservation. During months where there is a potential for inclement weather, such as hurricane season, we strongly suggest travelers obtain insurance.

No Smoking Accepted. Violators will be fined for in-room smoke damages. Smoking is ONLY allowed outside of the property, but please try to keep at least 10 feet from the doors to keep smoke from trailing inside.

Firearms are not allowed in any of our private residences. Any firearms left behind at a property will be turned over to local police without notice to guest.

This is a licensed and legal Short Term Rental. Neighborhood peaceful hours are from 10pm-8am. If violated the city will issue a $1047 fine. Guests are also responsible for following the City of Charleston's Ordinance rules under Section 54-227.

Our city is growing quickly. With that growth comes construction. Unfortunately, there’s nothing we can do about the resulting noise or the current, cosmetic state of some neighboring buildings. During your stay, this shouldn’t be too bothersome, since the city’s noise ordinance dictates peaceful hours between 10pm & 8am.

Please use painters tape if you plan on using tape to decorate for an event. If the wall is damaged due to tape removal or decorations, you will have to pay $500 for repainting.

Located by the sea, this apartment is in Downtown Charleston, a neighborhood in Charleston. American Theater and Music Farm are cultural highlights, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Port of Charleston Cruise Terminal and Upper King Design District.
