Welcome to 8 Bufflehead, a 3 bedroom, 3.5 bathroom home located on a serene lagoon in Kiawah Island's exclusive plantation, Vanderhorst Plantation. This 2,994 sq ft home offers plenty of indoor and outdoor space to savor the luxuries of Kiawah and is just a short 7 min. walk to the beach!
Enter to the open living room with flat screen TV, fireplace and seating to comfortably accommodate up to 6 guests. The floor to ceiling windows offer plenty of natural light and pretty vistas of the lagoon. To the left of the entry and off the living room is the kitchen and formal dining room. The kitchen is functional and well appointed, offering tons of counter space for preparing huge meals and entertaining. The dining room is just beyond with seating for 6, a flat screen TV and access to the enormous screened in porch.

The master bedroom is also located on this level along with a half bathroom and sitting room. The master suite affords guests a roomy room with king bed, flat screen TV and ensuite bathroom with his & her sinks and a walk-in shower (tub is off limits to guest use). Off the master you will find a cozy study which can be accessed via the living room as well. This area is ideal for board games, puzzles, reading or working from the beach and offers access to the outside open deck overlooking the lagoon.

Upstairs homes the remaining 2 bedrooms and another loft/sitting area with flat screen TV. The twin bedroom uses the full hall bathroom, while the queen bedroom has a private bathroom with a walk-in shower.

The Vanderhorst Plantation is a private heaven located between East Beach Village and Ocean Park on Kiawah Island. This calming plantation features maritime forests, marshlands and lagoons, handsome stretches of beaches and an abundance of wildlife away from the hordes for a true barrier island hideaway.

You're ideally placed to appreciate the best of Kiawah Island's championship golf only mins. away at the pristine Osprey Point Golf Course and Peter Dye's Ocean Course, or a short drive away from Turtle Point or Cougar Point Golf Course. Vanderhorst Plantation is only 4 miles from the top attractions of East Beach Village including Nighttime Heron Park, Kiawah Nature Center, the Roy Barth Tennis Center, and luxury dining and shopping at The Sanctuary Hotel at Kiawah Island Golf Resort.

When you stay with ESPM for 3-21 nights you will receive a valuable credit of $300 to use toward beach gear, bicycles, etc. Credit may not be available for last min. bookings, 48 hours notice is required.

No family pets, no smoking, guests do not have use of the fireplaces or garage.
