Spend the day aboard the Git R Done and see what’s biting in Charleston! Your guide for the day is Captain Morgan, bringing years of professional experience aboard.
Gag Grouper, Black Grouper, Scamp Grouper, Mahi Mahi, Wahoo, White Marlin, Blue Marlin, Blackfin Tuna, and more are in the cards, depending on the conditions. For these species, you’re likely to troll using light or heavy tackle or bottom fish.
You can take home any fish you catch, assuming they meet regulations. Plus, you can have your catch cleaned. Enjoy it later that day or pack it away for months down the line.
Looking to get the whole family outdoors? Kids are absolutely welcome! If you don’t have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there’s one on board. Snacks are never a bad idea so that nobody gets grumpy on an empty stomach!
You’ll be casting lines from a 58’ Cap-N-Squid offshore sport fishing vessel that can carry up to 6 passengers. It has outriggers, a fighting chair, and everything else you need for a productive day on the water. There’s a toilet on board for your convenience. You’ll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, as well as lures. Live bait is available, but be sure to ask about it ahead of time so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself.
Trips are run with the help of a First Mate, who’s there to help you fish and keep everyone safe on board. Mates work hard to make your trip count, so a 10%–20% gratuity is customary and much appreciated.
Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, just show up ready for a good time! Have in mind that you may release some fish due to regulations. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish.
You can’t go wrong when you bring a hat, sunglasses, bottled water, and sunblock (non-spray). If you’d like to bring other drinks, just ask.
The click of a button is the only thing keeping you from a great day on the water with Charleston Fishing Charters!
