Capt. Chappy grew up along South Carolina’s coastal waters, so fishing quickly became a hobby for him. His love for the sport drove him to become a better angler, and now he loves nothing more than passing along his local knowledge. He specializes in offering family-friendly trips – he’s happiest when watching newbies hook their first fish! More experienced? He’ll have you fishing the iconic shallow waters of the Low Country for your best Bull Redfish.

You’ll be casting off from your captain’s 23’ SeaPro boat, built to cruise these waters. She can accommodate up to 5 guests, but if you’d like to try your skills on the fly, Capt. Chappy can cater to 2 anglers. On board, you’ll find GPS and fishfinder, life jackets for adults and children, and a wireless trolling motor. This will come in handy when you’re sneaking up on shallow-water favorites such as Redfish and Spotted Seatrout!

The bountiful inshore waters of the Low Country are also home to Flounder, Cobia, Ladyfish, and Shark species, including Porbeagle. You’ll have the chance to target these and more on your adventure with your captain, depending on the trip you opt for. Generally, you’ll be using conventional gear to spin and pop for your catch, but you can also hook ‘em on the fly. Just bring along your own gear!
