Charlestowne Charters is owned and operated by locals with over 40 years of experience fishing the Charleston waters. They invite you to join them on an exciting day of fishing the beautiful waters of nearshore and offshore Charleston. All of your needs will be accommodated and you’ll have a great time fishing with US Coast Guard Captains who specialize in landing monster fish. All of our Captains are U. S. Coast Guard licensed Master Captains.

Your fishing vessel for the day is a 30’ Hydra Sports center console, equipped with state-of-the-art navigational features, outriggers, downriggers, and a private head. She takes up to 6 guests and everyone can fish at the same time. She’s built for offshore waters and she will provide the best ride possible in all conditions.

On extended full day trips, you’ll be heading 50–60 miles out from shore to troll for some of the most challenging and toughest fighters in the game. Your targets will include Blue and White Marlin, Sailfish, Mahi Mahi, wahoo, and various Tuna species.

The Charlestowne crew also specializes in bottom fishing. Here, you’ll fish the reefs for bottom-dwellers such as Snapper, Grouper, Triggerfish, and many more! On our trips that include bottom fishing, you’ll go up to 20–45 miles offshore. No matter which trip you choose, you can expect a tough and fun challenge against some incredible fish!

Top-of-the-line Penn gear is provided on all trips and you’ll also have a first mate on board for additional assistance. They’ll gladly clean, fillet and bag your fish for you free of charge. Your fishing license is included as well so you can just come right down to the dock ready to fish!

Water and sunscreen are also provided and there’s an extra cooler on board if you want to bring food and drinks.
