Midtown and The Charleston Visitor Center parking garages are close by as well. Street parking is available for two hours. Options for getting around: Holy City Spokes - a bicycle-share program, Uber/Lyft, Charleston bicycle taxi & Charleston Rickshaw, green taxi, or yellow cab. There is a complimentary and air-conditioned trolley that has three lines that go throughout the city called DASH. You can pick up the green line at the end of Cannon at King St and take it down to the Market, Broad St, and all the way down King St. This is of course a very walkable community and in my opinion, the best way to see the city is by foot!

Strategies to get the perfect Charleston area rental experience:

Sticking to a spending budget:

  • Book your vacation home as early as possible. Rental schedules often open twelve months in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many families book their Summer rental homes during Christmas and Thanksgiving gatherings. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • Summer time is high season in the Charleston area area. Booking your vacation rental in Spring or Fall is one of our best tips for saving money on your vacation rental. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of suitable homes. Many vacationers use this strategy to reserve larger homes, or to reserve a beach front rental that would otherwise be unavailable during June, July, and August. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Charleston area vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation on the coast? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with loved ones at your favorite beach.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property management company or host whether your group qualifies for a price reduction or discount.
  • Booking websites usually offer their guests an option to obtain vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which will generally cost between 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed trip time as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a bank account-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask the property owner for details.
  • Many property management companies supply Charleston area area visitors guides which often include special offers, either offered directly by local companies, or through a relationship between the rental management company and the business itself. You can also find Charleston area visitors guide magazine and coupon books at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers.

Use filters to narrow your rental search:

  • Select a group lead, select your trip dates, and select a maximum budget.
  • Note the number bedrooms and what type of bedroom configuration you need. Fully Furnished Corporate\/Executive Rental in prime downtown Charleston location. has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms.
  • Specific information about bedrooms and bed sizes & counts is normally accessible on booking websites. If not, call the host before you book the property. Remember that most listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which typically includes sofa beds in living rooms. You will need to establish what bed configuration is optimal for your trip.
  • Are you traveling with furry, four-legged family members? Many vacation homes allow animals, but guidelines and restrictions apply. Type of pet, size and breeds may be limited. Ask your host before booking, and study your rental agreement! Pet fees or costs could be applied to your contract.
  • Looking for specific amenities? Most rental websites include search filters for amenities.
  • Appropriate accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for the less-mobile. Make certain to ask about wheel chair accessibility, pool lifts and specialized equipment needs.

Considerations for your stay:

  • Store the owner's information in your smartphone.
  • Ask questions. You may need instructions for a garage door opener, television set or coffee maker. Contact your host. They are there to help! A brief phone call prevents a lot of concerns.
  • Keep the property locked while you are away! Don't let thieves spoil your trip.
  • Document any issues with the property at check in, and immediately contact the owner. We specifically recommend e-mails and text messages, as they usually contain built-in time stamps that can be very helpful if there is a dispute.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like loud visitors disrupting your peace and quiet. Use the golden rule for common sense. Happy residents may even recommend great beaches and places you would have not otherwise known!
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local! Residents can often help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to order the best nachos, have a great night out, or the best spots for fishing?
  • Double-check every room of the rental property to confirm that you've packed all personal items at departure. Check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Walk through the rental a final time and scan for any damage. We advise inspecting the property with the property manager whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the manager is not available, remember to take photographs of the property to record its condition at check-out.
  • Leave feedback! Property managers rely on excellent ratings to drive new reservations. They'll be much obliged for your feedback. Alternatively, if something wasn't as described, other vacationers will appreciate that you share your review and help them have the best future vacation. Please be fair with your feedback If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the owner had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded expeditiously to remedy it.
